currently, tampines can be seen flooded wif training buses. regardless KUB or B10M. i wonder why? new svc? new BCs?
of course new BC then? If new svc, I guess PTC would have plan that in advance?

May I know what does "jumpbus" means?
Originally posted by lianamaster:May I know what does "jumpbus" means?
that means bus driver driving diffrent buses for eg:
SBS9815H bus driver instead of driving 9815H, it drove SBS7484P instead. Correct me if I am wrong.

You are wrong.
Jump bus means that a BC drives a different bus throughout course of duty on that day. Which bus they drive is differentiated by its rego or by its block no assigned to the bus. It only applies to single depot control services only. However, not all single depot controlled services do jump bus.
The advantage of jumpbus is that the service saves one bus with the same no of BCs. The bus saved can be used to beef up spare fleet.

Erm... I don't quite understand. Does it mean that 1 BC can drive more than 1 service or stg?
