Should be 1641h departing Sengkang Interchange, 18T duty, last trip to Toa Payoh. Unless got cameo or another perm service 163 bus deployed instead.

Would like to point out that the KUBs are rather flexible, they can lock-up at 1st also. It depends on how much pressure the BC applies.
Interestingly the same can be said for the ZF4s although they are not as flexible. They need to be really pushed to the limit to induce this effect.
I and scania N113CRB lov3r saw SBS3840Z being driven by a fat guy wearing a navy blue shirt outside Boon Lay Int towards SLBP direction 2 weeks ago.his first few shirt buttons were unbottoned.is he the mechanic?
What service is SBS9888Y/TIB838H on now?

Tendering don't work in this way. Invitation to tenders are usually sent out to industry players (whether they have close relationships or not) or by publication in newspaper or through internet. Interested tenderers would then have to submit their tenders, and its up to the company/entity which issued the invitation to tender to decide over which tenderer to choose based on mainly quailty and cost.
Ok, we all know that SBS9000S was the first Leyland Olympian 3 Axle to be registered in Singapore, and that SBS Transit has the last Leyland bus in the world (SBS9168S). It is also widely believed that 9000S was the one which was built at Walter Alexander's Falkirk plant. However, thingsweren't that simple back in 1993, the Leylands weren't really registered in any order, more like, we-reg-what-we-see-and-grab-at-the-bus-assembly-plant. And that there may be delays in introduction to service of demos (as seen from 8033D, which was registered on the same day as the other Scanias), or even delays in register. Question is, which then is the LO which was bodied in Scotland? Is it 9032A, which was the first chassis of the whole batch? Or some other bus out of the 200 Leylands?
thanks Scania, by the way does sv 292 do jump bus? this is how the pattern went 2dae [at around 12pm]: 911Y > 3714E > 3713H > 3714E > 911Y > 3173H .....i watched the freq....very bad (15 - 18) mins.

335 fixed pattern is 3725Z>3730H>3736S>2749L unless there is cameo. and the cycle repeats.

afterall, the PM shift not too demanding mah... only got less than 20( on the average)
why so slow??????
and another thing, wwhy not making it into a wkday bus???? and stop at my school(bhss) instead of skipping to the church.... it does not skip stops wat in the cbd area....

It is supposed to be a semi-express bus linking the heartlands and CBD.
As for the PM shift, probably the demand is so bad the drivers know they will have excess time so they arrive later than scheduled.

for feeders with small fleet, some drivers run 2-3 continuous trips before taking a break, and that rotates with the other buses in the fleet.
at least it makes sense.... and yes i live at braddell blk 107

No wonder last week when i saw SBS3713H dropping off passengers in the Int,it immediately rushed off to the 292 berth again to collect passengers for the second consecutive time.

Because its targeted group of passengers is not students, but working adults heading into the CBD.
does SBS7449U have 1 CCTV installed at above stairway?
Hmm... for those who ever sat Express 502 to Orchard/Suntec area... I don't know if you realize something...
As the bus is heading to Orchard Road, what route does it ply? Initially, once the bus completed its journey from The Synergy bus-stop along Boon Lay Way, it had 2 possible routes. One is to exit to PIE and go straight to Orchard Road via Stevens Rd. However, the current service goes via the old route; Boon Lay Way, Clementi Rd, Ulu Pandan Rd, Holland Rd, Tanglin Rd, before reaching the Delfi Orchard bus-stop. The problem is, in the SBST website and bus guides, it mentioned the PIE route instead. Actually, I wouldn't care because there are no bus-stops along the way. But I ever come across a BC who drove using the PIE route and the travelling time was shorter. However, ever since then till today, all BCs drive via the old route.
Any opinions or explanation why the BC choose to go the old route and not the new ones stated in the guide?

Only when the BC is heading back to Jurong area then he will drive using the PIE route. I find it quite puzzling.
Any opinions or explanation why the BC choose to go the old route and not the new ones stated in the guide?
The reason being is that going through the old route is more straightforward route from Jurong East to Orchard. Going by PIE also can, just that it will be a little troublesome for the BC as he needs to turn into the narrow roads like Anderson Rd and Orange Grove Rd then to be able to reached to Orchard Rd. On its return trip, it HAS to use PIE to returned to Jurong is because it has a bus-stop at Scotts Rd. Express 502A likewise, plying PIE towards Orchard Rd the reason being is that it is actually a more straightforward route from Jurong West. Overall, it actually depends on whether the BC wants to take which route to Orchard Rd.
