According to service_238, he said that BBDEP cut one of the shift for holiday on 166, which is 9889U... -
Is there any bus that's replacing 1172M and 15T while they are being laid up for repairs?

I caught it the first time i went looking for it thanks to ben. The timing was precise. When I was walking to the 166 berth at AMK, it came out of the parking lot.

I took a Dennis Lance today on 985, and this question came into my mind. Could Dennis take the Lance chassis, make it one step boarding and become WAB? That should solve some high engine/high seating problems.
Random thoughts..don't take it seriously. :D

I am afraid not anymore.
Walter Alexander (now the owner of Dennis Specialist Vehicles) is no longer making the Lance model. Instead they have extended the Dart range by lengthening it.

Hmm, as in other buses that are also one step boarding, lowering this one step and yet retaining the low rear engine of sorts. The Scanias and OCs are quite high - very cramped and uncomfortable.

I have a question: Why do SBST and SMRT buses travelling along CCK Ave 3 without doing any svc? Looks like these buses r heading towards KJE coz i live near there.. Here is wat ive spotted ytd from 1am - 4am: (lol i cant sleep thats y)
1 Volvo Strider
2 DM 0405 (1 CAC & 1 OAC)
1 Hispano 0405
1 KUB (At last i found this bus at CCK!)
1 Habit bendy
Maybe its Employee Bus? I olso dunno coz the lights of these buses were off & thers no passengers inside.

if it's EB svc, they definitely will light up e desto plate. i think more likely they r all going back "home" to their depots after completing midnight svc.

That;s for weekday. Weekends does not use holiday schedule. 9889U does not have perm timing on weekends. If it operates, its on cameo timing and its likely on T shift. -

The coil springs at the back of the bus isn't working that well?

not true that they will light up the desto plate for all EB, especially for those trips from Depots to HDB towns, cos for alighting only. and interior light are alway off. For EB trips to depots, the desto light are mostly on.
