Are you sure that Singaporeans should know whether a train is a C151, C651 or C751B? Then, are you sure that all Singaporeans should know what's a Scania K230UB, a Mercedes Benz OC500LE? Should they also know what's ZF 4HP500, or a Voith DIWA 863.3?These stuffs aren't supposed to be part of a normal person's lifestyle. We knowing them only makes us special.
On the other hand, to be able to differentiate between SBST and SMRT is another thing. They are the only 2 major public transport companies in Singapore, and if people do not know which is which, why bother to complain in the first place?
To sinicker: Buses are part of SBS Transit. They merely renamed from SBS because of the NEL.

i meant to say that singaporeans still think of SBST as SBS. & look at how so many people still call SMRT buses TIBS. they just dont seem to bother of the rebranding/renaming efforts.

Their eyes suck at seeing. Therefore they choose to blame it on SBST instead of their eyesight.Unless people can show us real pics of buses having TIB 1246J like EDS.

Agree but sometimes it is true that you could not see eds on K230UB at far when it is dark, SBS choose a superbright LED for EDS makes the eds blur to some people but still ok to me at distances of 100 meters. However, smrt eds are better and clearer i must admit and clearer.
SBS eds display should also standardlise. the forms of data it could display on same no of service differs widely.
