Both companies naturally would discourage them from taking each other's services where possible to have the entire share of the fare to themselves, the same reason why the SMRT Link bus service exists. This shows somewhat the lack of integration, though, which is a bit of waste - LTA has gone its way out to promote say Publictransport.sg, which could have also directed passengers to use the PTJP or at least let them know its existance.
But the SMRT Link bus service is definitely not money making... We can very well see that this is the kind of wastages that bite into whatever revenue SMRT makes. Personally it would be better to cancel the services(2 of them left).

Is GoThere.sg a PTO? The subject in reference here is to the PTO's respective bus guides, not any external ones, genius. Don't answer apples with oranges.
I didn't even bother to try using GoThere.sg, I just took Ben's results. So, who are you calling narrow minded here? :)

ive already checked back. what was the post about? stomper not being able to go from point A to point B cuz a website screwed things up by saying take a taxi. Since when was the whole fuss about it being a PTO website? I believe the stomper can also use gothere.sg cant he?

PTO's Website = SMRT. SMRT will not provide solutions with SBST's services like what Gothere.sg does, vice versa. Hence your reply saying 138 -> 927 didn't make sense.
Yes, he can use Gothere.sg, provided if he knows about it, which in this case, he seemingly doesn't know about it.
