  sad new. on saturday, seveal MBO405 were towed out of AMDEP, presumably to the scrap yard, by a tow truck from Yishun towtruck. including sbs313/sbs321/sbs324. I saw one being tow along YCK rd at around 11 am. Then at 1 pm, witness SBS324 being towed out.

  There is one more DM OAC which front have crashed(with Sv 130 side desto plate) which was unable to be tow after several attemps and the tow truck driver give up on it. not sure the rego though.

  AMDEP, then later on, move the rest of the layup buses parked at other buses to the layup corner of AMDEP. Think they are clearing up spaces for more new buses.

  true. that bus is good, put on a T shift slot for 194 and 192 is quite a waste. they should have put in 349X. although bus is lousy still got tv to excite tourist.

  is sbst extending buses like 3880h , 3881e all the way up till 3920 ? for the SL Side ? 

  i mean if not then maybe the AM transfer could be to replace these buses ??

  i mean those buses like 3880H , 3881E are all good , no gearbox problem or whatsoever .

   cause i dont see them being refurbished . the last bus to be refurbisehd was 3858Z forthe SL CAC DM side .

  3859X onwards not refurbished

  378L is the latest for DM .

  juz wondering, with all the TVM and the TVm equipment, where do the TVM units go? they are used as spare? or are they juz thrown away?

  same qn also for the DDU and rims, since i notice some scania n113crb uses merc rims.

  no. its the tyres. the wheels are of the same diameter, juz that some have thicker tires. merc and scania rims are swappable. juz like the LO and VO3 rims are swappable. in smrt, lance, hino rims are also exchangeable

  Lol I think anything is possible, the parking attendants don't label them as SP - Voith or SP - W3E.

  But it is easier to hear the difference in engine sounds for Voith than W3E.

  The point being amdep spent money to change its gearbox and its costs are now passed on to another depot at the expense of it. So far no amdep ZF merc has been transferred..

  Some mercz that are transferred earlier got the gearbox problem. Btw, SLBP got ZF mercz too..

  nt sure about SBS 3880H, once MIA for a month until they  forgot to tear off the ads but only recently then off.. SBS 3881E is refurbished. Similarly to SBS 3735U.

  but sadly it left 502 , 561Z took its slot , dont know why they put 561Z there , horrible .
