The water dripping case is an exception for some bad Mark IV. In general Singaporeans are pleased with the good Mark IVs that do not leak. Looks like the only way to please the general Singaporeans will be newer buses with plenty of seats like the Mark IVs (I know that this is a harsh fact).

If you are a able-bodied, why want to fight with those who are not as abled as you? No sense of compassion.
What SBST could do it to intstall tip-up seats at the areas meant for the the PIWs. So when there are no PIWs, pax can alwiz sit down. However this defeats the purpose of having extra standing space in the bus. So it is pretty difficult to strike a balance.

You're still young. Grow up. You won't appreciate the features that SBST brought in to serve the elderly. Stop your immature thinking. SBST and SMRT is trying to help our ageing population by providing zero-step entraces and wheelchair bays so as to allow PIWs to travel to. WIll you die if you have to stand, even for a full trip from Bedok to Boon Lay? There's always the MRT. And why are you so selfish in your mindset? Can't you emphatise with this elderly who already have problems in mobility and have to use walking aids?

There are quite a number of O405s that have been extended to 2010. So the farewell tour might not be so soon.
