There isn't any increase in number of Mercs in 232's fleet, its just the cameos which keep appearing, the 3 Scanias are still there.

SBS382Z, the best Mercz from S21 graded by BCs. Haha.
A mini update (according to one motoring)
374 382 383 386 387 416 3885 - 3891 3893 - 3896 all on lay up.
381 and 384 not official lay up yet.
529T has deregistered.
SBS 3898H has been laid-up till lifespan expiry, mostly because of the accident...
SBS 3793B replaces it on 57.
SBS 0362G has been laid-up till lifespan expiry. SBS 0332T replaces it.

really wasted... they scrapped 3880H, a good bus =(
oh well, what can i say
From my stats there are about 555 Merc left on revenue service. Add up those on training would be around 565.
Not too little.. At least they are still around :)

They will just pick some buses to refurbish and extend lifespan, the rest will be due for de-registration. Simple thing is that if you don't scrap the rest, you find that you have more and more buses (With about 500 coming our way presently) and then you would not have the space to store these buses.
381B, 393S, 396J are some of the Mercedes at the lay-up corner.
3901G is refurbished.
