Notes:
1) Most of the MB O405 based under AMDEP were awaiting laid up and de-registered earlier than the lifespan expiry.
2) SBS310G was used as a Museum Bus by NHB. The bus was repainted into SBST Livery when the bus no longer used for that purpose. It serves on its revenue service under AMDEP for a few months before going to lay up.
3) SBS138M and SBS468K were converted for special purposes. SBS138M is now Drug Busters Bus & SBS468K is Molly Bus by NLB.
4) SBS456U and SBS532H was burnt in the Great AMDEP fire in 1999.
5) Other buses that have been de-registered can be found at the De-registration of Buses of the SGWIKI website (http://www.sgwiki.com/wiki/De-registration_of_Buses).
6) Should there be any mistakes on my list, please point out the mistake and I will correct them.

Farewell to all this merc.BTW,yesterday i saw SBS430T repainted and with shiny rims on 174 at Boon Lay Int.the whole bus was quite shiny.looks like SLBP had done major touch-ups to it.so will it's lifespan be extended?

Likely yes.
Repainted would be linked to refurbishment which would be linked to lifespan extension...
good news, 3892Z is still not deregistered. Its lifespan is believed to be extended. refer to Anything unusual thread on Nov.

General rule of thumb is that if a bus that's repainted and refurbished usually will get extended. No one in a right mind would spend money to fix/refurb something that they'll discard in a few months time. Yep.
Like that time when the Volvo B10Ms were being repainted, some of them due to lifespan expiry for 19 years weren't painted to SBST's livery because in a few months time they'll be scrapped and sold off. They got the SBS logo removed instead.

You sure?i heard that SBS3872G was refurbished but it was still scrapped.
Why was SBS132D scrapped?It is because of lifespan expiry or some other reason?because i remember seeing something about it in this forums saying that something happened to it.

563T was not burnt in amdep fire in 1999. Bus was likely to be a Jurong bus.

at that point in time i was super young , didnt have access to the net lol .
so i just wondered where the bus went to .. it last cameo on 243W on a saturday night , then it wasnt on 240 anymore . never seen it on any other svc either .
maybe it got into an accident or something .
at that point in time , 263J , 227P , 251T , 341S , 538S , 563T were perm 240
