I really dun see an issue with bus without rim guards when in the future most of the buses are without rim guards. There should be reasons behind it for them to do that. -

Actually a few of us suspect that the 303C that came out of lay-up is not the real 303C. Need to compare before & after photos. -
SBS3910E - On 142 today is refurbished
SBS3913Y - On 238 today is refurbished
SBS443G - On 26 today is refurbishedNew repaints and silvery rims.

Go onboard the bus, check VIN plate, if it isn't WDB35700521061350, then it isn't the real SBS303C.
Tip: For VINs, just concentrate on the last few numbers would do.

Hmm I see...The most obvious evidence about the 303C mystery was the change in air-con brand without any markings on the roof of the body indicating that the older air-con was ever removed.

So my suspicion is proved correct that SBS303C now has fuji aircon.what a fool i have been.i suspected that the aircon looked different that day when i saw it on 143.i noticed that how come the aircon from flat(sutrak) suddenly can pop out and become like a box(fuji).but i didnt post it because i thought that maybe i was seeing things or maybe i was dreaming too much in the excitement of seeing SBS303C.

Is SBS418E refurbished?i took it last week on 334 and it has shiny floors,new paintwork and shiny rims.and a few parts of the walls in the interior of the bus especially near the driver cabin looks like they have been repainted as well.

Yes it is refurbished.I look for whether the bus has been refurbished or not simply by one thing - whether their licence plates have been changed.

So the interior wall near the driver cabin is really painted?and i find it hard to differantiate the rego plates.they look almost the same to me.dont mind telling me how do u do that?thanks. -

For the suspected fake 303C, if it's really fake.
The bus shld be range from 361J - 377P or 390A - 407L.
320C - 325P is impossible because it's dereged long ago and also, only 320C available at SLBP.
Most likely shld be those dereged/laid-up buses range from 390A - 407L.
But if really in this range, SLBP only has 2 buses available, which are 390A and 397G.I can't confirm too, whether it's pirated and I have also never seen that bus after it's out. These are just wild guesses. Gotta wait till someone go and verify its VIN

i was also wondering about the A/C ... How about checking to see if AMDEP's refurbished work is still inside , as in , amdep painted seats , SL didnt paint the whole seat , or engine no ... ( from one motoring ) -
