Do you like TV Mobile? So many complaints in Stomp but apparently those who enjoyed it wouldn't compliment it in Stomp. So, if you have a say, do you want TVM if everything is constant (i.e. no changes to bus fair, current standard of quality, etc...)?

TVM can be there but with no sound.

it can be there, but not as loud as 9534...volume can be much lower

It should only be used on buses with low ridership so that people on an emptier bus can enjoy it.

I don't favour it. Its quite disturbing sometimes.

Nobody seems to be watching it. The programs are repeats, streams from other MCP channels, or boring. It disturbs the peace in the bus. The seats near the tv screen may be removed/blocked because of it.

I'm actually quite shocked that someone wrote into the ST and asked people to wear earplugs if they felt it was noisy.

Those with TV mobile has one seat blocked off, just behind the exit. Is it due to the TV?

Some sort yes , even the B10M MK3 also , this is due to the small space , i think even the LO3x also got the same thing ...

i like the 80s rewind, maggi and me and Police n theif and news news on TV Mobile
this is because i missed them on channel 5 mos tof the time. but now i cna play catch up with the local reruns
so i vote yes to TVM.
still we cd do with some nice cookin 9mouth water in bus) shows, or learn english shows like Hong Kong's roadshow.
i wish they wd show makan places lost n found 1 and 2 on TVM more n those channel U and 8 food shows. also travel variety shows wd be loely. reruns of japan hour wd be lovely on TVM.

The CNA news in the mornings gives me an update about the latest news (EPL, Headlines -- like the malaysian elections/mas selemat's disapperance)

For me, it's a BIG YES.
I love the shows that used to be aired on Channel 5. At least made my ride more entertaining.
The Just for Laughs and Just for Variety is quite interesting.
80's Rewind, Maggi and Me and My Sassy Neighbour is a laugh
CNA News sounds interesting
Heartlanders is a true classic, the first days of digital and the last days of flim
Lifeline can be dropped out but storyline since to be interesting
Mandarin Shows sounds interesting and funny at times
Sometimes, I dun like the bus sound to destroy the volume of the TV Mobile!!!

It helps to keep me updated with CNA news flash. Alot of important news i got was through the CNA news flash on TVM.
Not to mention, it helps to brighten up someone's day with its program like Just for laugh. Think maybe they should add in Mr Bean. Still remember that when it started in year 2001, Mr Bean was part of their afternoon program. Sure miss those times watching Mr Bean on the bus.
My guess, the only way that they could improve the situation is to tone down the volume of the TVM. If not, i would support the STF's writer decision to take away the sound on the bus. Those who wish to listen to TVM can tune into FM89.3. Other than that, everything is still alright..

I'm now liking the late night airing of The Truth at 11pm (better than the usual 10am block). Its like you watch the latest episode on Ch 8 at 9pm and then watch yesterday's episode on TVM at 11pm, at the comfort of my own home :P
Another 9pm drama show that wasnt aired on its usual 10am block was the one about 3 couples last year (Xin Fu Shuang Ren Chuang).. May-July that period. It was aired during the 6pm peak hour block.. I like.. haha..

Actually, i think, Tv mobile is not bad, but it's the shows and the show times that making it seem bad.
Looping the shows for dunno how many times a day makes it worse!

Prefer last time........now the only useful shows are Primtetime Morning, the 1pm Chinese News, 7pm SEA Tonight, 9:30pm News 5 tonight. If they can air re runs of Amazing Race or at least Survivor, then its good.

ok...i did a rough estimate...including replies...i know it's not accurate but I'm too busy to sort everything out...so the preliminary findings:
