The old ones from the old buses are over at least over 10 years old. They will have reliability problems. Also, newer gearboxes offers more economy and reliability when driving.

likely to be soon lee. i just hope they can maintain the bus well. the BCs are complaining about the poor maintenance of 8030, 8033 and most of the K230UBs. 8033 has been relegated to 183 S shift but it still gives problems. as long as the depot is able to maintain the bus, i'm ok with it. but if they cant. why put them there to rot.

somehow soon lee doesn't treasure the buses that they get. anyway the great crack at the rear of 8030 fixed? i bet not...

actually , its more of someone take a needle/key and scratch through .. if u examine closely . cos there's a indent mark through the whole scratch

by the way, where is 8030D stationed at?

U should complain to Volvo & Scania. SLBP doesn't do anything to them. Btw, the heat problem at the rear had been solved for SBS 8033D. Nv see any problem with SBS 8030L but happily on Svc 185. -

hahah its also partially due to the design. but overall Senotsa B7Rs are fine and HippoBus K230s too. but 8030 and 8033. lets say far far away where the sky is brown and the trees are blue.

Most, if not all of B7RLEs have had (or have currently) cracks on the exterior at the rear of the bus. The ones which don't have currently (but soon to have again) are those which went for refurb.

so many K230UBs in soon chow BP plying 199/243/174 compared to "i never heard any K230UB @ hougang depot except for Dennis Trident". just put e demos in svcs where there are few or even none WABs plying those svcs like 145.
