sama-sama to KUB........
looking at the exterior pic again at the first page, feel that the MAN's bumper is very high...
the interior very KUB-ish..
but its got a nicer floor texture..
the wheel housing has a funny shape..
good that its got no TVm.
5 seats at the front.. 5!!!!
I thought 7 seats in front,Anyway good bus.Hope that they buy more of it.This one sure screamer compared to 12 litre cousin.Too bad based at BN rather than AM r HG
what, trial on svc 6. BNDEP, what are you doing ?
Nice pics tamago! =)
I notice that the handgrips look like those on the oc500le, and that there are much more seats compared to k230ub. Is this MAN longer than the k230?
Read from tama-san's hardwarezone thread is that MAN want to demonstrate that there can be bigger sitting capacity by having smaller wheel hubs. And it's on revenue service already?

There is word from SLBP mechanics that the MAN could be transferred over to either SL or AM because BNDEP have trouble maintaining the MAN. Anyway, I wonder how the backside look like?

Out on Service 6? No one have timing? Anyway I won't be able to catch it for the whole of next week.
Looks like service 6 will get Scania K230UBs too, if the MAN demonstrator is going to be on trial on that service.

After look at the rear side.... why can't they put the rear side on the top of the window?? It might looks better than left side of the corner as well~~

Gemilang mah. MAN chose Gemilang bodywork for this sole purpose of letting SBST compare the advantages of the MAN 18.240 over Scania K230UB.
The 5 seats are used to showcase the chassis' ability to accomodate more space for passengers than K230UB by having a smaller wheel housing.
