SMRT Buses Changing Seat Covers

Hi
I'm quite surprised no one has reported this here, so, i guess i will.
After many years, SMRT finally came to its senses and are beginning to replace the dusty, cushion seats on the CAC 0405s to those of the SBS-type PVC seats.
Now, for now, i have noted that 771 and 796 have their covers changed.
The seat brings about great improvements as the buses suddenly feel clean and to an extent, "new". there's that new rubber smell...haha.
Anyway, if u have sighted more buses with the new PVC seats, do list them down here. :)
btw, if this has been reported elsewhere, i apologize sincerely and do close this thread down.

I had a bad sneeze after taking in all the dust on 1231B...

Some OAC Mercs do change the original seats to PVC seats about a month ago already...
Few examples like TIB458X & TIB450S. -
I hope that SBST will fully replace the seat covers on all the Volvo MKIVs as I still see some Volvo MKIVs striders with old blue seat covers. The new seat covers will give the buses a fresh look. Seats covers on the LO3x and VO3x batch 1 should also be replaced.

Others i not sure.. Noticed that 307 have alot of plastic seats CAC merz and the bus is clean no more cockroaches

Just one question. Wasent the CAC o405s using pvc seats at first?
Funny and strange ah... PVC > Fur Cushion > PVC... its like going one big round then realise they shld'nt have done the change at first...

TIB430A, TIB554B and TIB729P are some other buses that have PVC seats as well.

Because TIBS cleaned their cushion seat covers regularly and SMRT does not, so SMRT took the easy way out. The cushion seats were meant to bring comfort to the passengers.

Wah TIB787X finally changed covers.
This bus used to have extremely white fabric seat covers. -
finally. im waiting for the day TIB905Y gets the pvc's. it has white-ish seats.

yeah, some buses like 632, 425, 426, etc... I also think this type of chair more cleaner and comfortable. Hope all buses will change this type of chairs

Yeah .... i think sooner or later 307 perms will have all PVC's soon , just a matter of time.

Tha bus had its seat covers like that I think since around 2004 when one morning it served s189 and I could see the dust around the seats and the cushions are really white and there is that dust smell...
Now since it had did feeder for so many years, it just is not scheduled to change seat cushions after so long due to who-knows-what reasons...

when i went to ride on it with ben (sbs9888Y) it had some kind of smell like a mix between incense (not incest!) and algae. -

habits seat some not so prominent yet, but those with the old smrt green fabric kind can see its dirty -
TIB444K better change it. When i took this bus on 920 (cameo) today, the bus seats stank badly and is covered in dust.
