  The wheels were silver just 2 days ago. Was the picture taken today? Lucky I got my first picture before the wheels were painted.

  Anyone wants to sponser SMRT some paint stripper? Looks amazingly HORRIBLE in black.

  Oh well, at least it wont look grey and dirty like some of the b9tl

  SMRT never do anything to us. They do it to their bus, which they owned and can do whatever they like to it.

  but at least B9 rim still look better than this black colour one.

  btw, i keep seeing post saying SMRT paint the wheel black? They paint the rim only. Not the wheel which include tire and rim..

  Aesthetic appeal towards those who boards the bus. The bus dull, the passengers also feel dull. Take tibs - wheels and livery are yellow, bright and cheerful.  SBST, Sliver modern feel. SMRT?Red and white for bus body with white for the wheels at first, then they lower the looks of the bus to the level  of common trucks that can be found in construction sites.

  i dun think a black rim instead of a silver one would make a person feel dull. lol.

  SMRT livery below the SMRT logo is black for newer model like hispano habit, so it is not suprising to see the rim black mah. But why they choose black as it is not good in chinese customs that beats me

  Btw, i somehow feel that after the wheels were painted black, they somehow bear a ressemblance to some of Europe's Citaros.

  But if you are referring to the total height of the bus, yes. And the last row seat height, yes.
