i believe that maybe smrt only purchase 1 bus first. seem no people spot any other new smrt bus roaming around.

Yes, since you all say no OCs in AM (SMRT) Depot, I'm sorry as this is info from a standby in WLDEP. The WLDEP ones are confirmed as what he told me through his daughter (my schoolmate). -

TIB790K has got white rims! I wonder if the yet-to-be-released OC500LEs might have this colour for their rims!
It doesnt look like a base coat paint to me. A close up look of the bus rims shows that it has been painted for at least 2 weeks. So its unlikely to be a base coat paint.

They will come mostly after the Nissans are taken off the road. Most likely within two more months.

Seen it today (2 August 2008) that SMB1H has white rims as well. Maybe thats why other buses such as TIB476T, TIB514S, TIB543H (suspected) and TIB1226S has white rims.

So what is the black paint on the wheels for- base paint?
technically, SMRTBus now have 3 livery changes. TIBS livery, SMRT livery (black wheels) and SMRT Livery (white wheels).

in the TIBS era the rims are orange, then to SMRT, it is black, then now into the new generation, white rims.

0790K, 0810L, 0897L also.Hope AMDEP won't follow the white wheel trend.
