anyway, i spoke to my colleague today (who happened to be secretary of ex tibs boss) on why tibs choose merc majority over other makes is because previously of tibs taxis who bought merc cabs and merc buses at a tied in rate..
and i also saw a classic merc citaro poster on her office.. cool!

Problem with TTS News is that its uncensored, straight from source. So when got error will have to come out and say sorry. But then the system stuck like that, and worse of all, he might assume that he is The, accurate source of SMRT information, The, selected SMRT spokesperson.
Way to reduce such problems? Do not post unless information verified, do not assume castles in the sky, simply, do not assume the impossible.
Its not the first time. Its the X th time.

is the height of the OC500LE higher/taller than the KUB. lookin at pics people post, OC500LE looks rect, while de KUBs look like squares

Well...with more OC500LEs coming in, this means more Nissan Diesel buses going off soon.
. And the white rims of OC500LE will soon turn to grey rims lol. -

It's due to the CapaCity front from Mercedes, makes it look taller. The curved front and the big windscreen make it look like it's tall.
Oh and btw when the Euro V ad on SMB1H will stay till?

Cycled down to Woodlands Depot tonight; apart from the usual buses-all-over-the-place scene (TIB 1250X being parked at least 200 metres away from the rear gate
), I also managed to glimpse two Mercedes OC500LE buses parked deep inside the depot, with the give way to buses and the bus lane timing information signs up on their rear.Off topic: the overcrowding situation at Woodlands Depot is getting so bad that I won't be surprised if the buses launch a strike

If you are referring to the MKII Hispano bendy buses, that is. The later ones (having the exact same bodywork as the Mercedes, production Hino, and Dennis Volgren buses) is by Volgren.
