SMRT seems to be so excited about their new OCs they just playfully put OC500LE on any service. Yesterday's 11D on 925 was a shock to factory workers and Malaysians alike along Kranji and Sungei Kadut area.

How excited can they be... excited is not the correct term to use.
And workers can't be bothered about whether SMRT gives them new or old buses - The more important issue is whether they can even get on board the bus.
im proud to live at SMRT Territory (CCK). lol.
I prefer SMRT bus because SMRT SL drive faster & smoother.
Cause MOST of SMRT services are more direct. like 190.
SMRT FTW. LOL ![]()

The fact is that the management does detailed studying and careful planning of the passenger demand for every particular area, before drawing out a new route. Look at S969, S190, S700 just to name a few. However more needs to be done to lift huge passenger loads...
And it's not deniable that Premium 531 has the highest demand amongst all the Premium services I've seen so far. 4 rigids per morning within 5 minute intervals just to lift the passenger loads from Simei.

All bus routes should be like theirs...instead of making round and rounds :\.

Try 30, 197 and you would see how much rounds it would make before destination

The one dated 12/10 didn't reflect these changes. I'm waiting for the 19/10 to come out by Friday.
The 19/10 duty roster is out already as of this evening at YIDEP. And the bad news is that services 171 and 854 do NOT have any perm Merc OC500LEs as yet.
