Ah, finally spotted this bus on 75 and had a chance to take it.
Frankly, i'll say i like the oversized SL badge in front..make the bus look sporty outside.
Inside, appears that Mercedes is still retaining the older W210 styled speedometer dash but with digital lcd in the center. what's surprising it contains an active gear indicator even though it's full Auto. Normally it's only there and used for Tiptronic activation in cars.
Maybe Mercedes is holding back the automotive innovations for their cars section only(S class)
Sporty drive too, as gearbox didnt hesitate to go past the normal range upon stepdown. -

Wow, it looks like your OC 500s are suffering from major electronics issues, probably related to the bodybuilder. Give them time to settle in - they're still new buses and new buses are full of electronics these days.

Continuing from just now, since class just ended.
Yea, the bus i took if im right was SMB11D.
But a quirk, if u see the steering wheel, the 3 pointed star is a mere logo "sticker". This is the first time i see a new Mercedes-Benz without the usual luxury trim of a embossed badge
Speedo dash could have look nicer,at least the Scania(new one ttoo) had illuminated one. Something common in their cars but withheld in the bus section haha.
Okok, my input is limited - im not a bus fan, but with all the innovations i see on cars moving on to european buses...

European Buses=/= OC500LE as its chassiss is from europe and bodywork is from malaysia, at first it is a european bodywork...but SPH....sigh

MB design the dashboard. not the bodywork builder.. If based on your theory, all the K230 also not european buses.. -

Talking about MAN buses, I heard they are not compatitable with Singapore climate? I also heard 8031J fuel tank very small, thats why SBST put on short sv like 17, 6, 354... i heard when it cameod on 5, 4 trips fuel tank half already. What are your opinions?

can those 18.240 be modified to use a larger fuel tank? or it is because that bus fuel efficiency not too good? -
3725S spotted at PIE (Changi) after Jurong Town Hall Flyover at 1630hrs. Desto rotates AMK Depot and something else.. The driver exited at Toh Guan Flyover.
Seats are still wrapped in plastic.
