sat on 8202b today on sv 243w.
I sat at the last row of seats, and i dont find lots of rattling or anything.
The bus still has it's new bus smell and the rims are still real clean, however, the floors are quite sandy and the window panels of the front door is smudged
Is service 27 confirmed gatting those Scania K230UBs? According to sgwiki it seems that 12 of the HGDEP SP Scania K230UBs have become service 27's permers, however service 27 still seems to be all Volvo MK4 fleets today. If so when does the deployment starts? Will go and joyride service 27 one of these days.
And hopefully after service 27 got those Scania K230UB as perms, HGDEP should also consider assigning the remaining SP Scania K230UB (majority which is the 1st batch) to other services like 119/156/163 as perms. It will be better if services like 43 also gets Scania K230UBs too, since service 48 already got them.

Give 8 units to sv 163 n remaining 5 units to sv 165 ![]()
So tom (or shall i say today), we will see more K230 on Sv 131 cos there are 8 perm K230 as stated for Sv 131 in Sgwiki by mr Sv 143.
anyway, it seems like SBST have stopped registering the new K230s right now. Seem like not enough space in depot? maybe will wait for next one or two batches of N113 to go first.
When I arrived at St. Mikes just now I saw 8474P 8475L and 8472U parked in a reversed direction (back facing the INT). Then also got 8476J and 8477G.
I think they should be about to register some more. =)

They have registered way like about 200+ KUBs already. I wonder which depot wants to have some more KUBs and I'm scared that AMDEP, HGDEPand SLBP is going to be overflooded with KUBs.
Wonder if SBST is impatient in getting rid of the 0405s and N113CRBs?

The bus is already completed. Why not register them and put on the roads so as to earn revenue ? Do you expect them to complete 500 buses then put them all out on service all on the same day ??
With so many new PTC rulings, there are already shortage of buses in SBST. Why do they want to get rid of the Mercs and N113 ? I think if they are given a choice, they would rather use them then scrap them.

SBS8113G is back on service 163 today, got another one on service 163 which I didn't manage to catch the rego. SBS8080S on service 156 today.
And that really marks the end of those massive Scania K230UB deployments on service 163 (and other HGDEP services too), after service 27 takes away 10+ of its SP Scania fleets from HGDEP.

Maximum 19 years.

Most probably service 36, since all the SBST CGA bound services have gotten them.

They are slowing down in the laying up of the Merc already. There's like 80+ spare merc between the 3 bus parks in case you dont know.
