Soon you will see more KUBs on 36...

It is only a matter of time that they get in more KUBs as more KUBs come in.
and Mk4 DM3500 is not created or bought in 2000.

low floor buses arent for luxury... if ppl wanted luxury they would have taken a cab or tour bus for that matter. its more for standing space and ease of boarding for PIW's.

of course not... they'd use the bus at least 15 years.
Our 150 DM3500s were registered between 1997 to 2001.

Should be 17 years.
What possible buses will be WABs in the NEAR future? Give your guesses and suggestions (and hope it is correct)!

the first 100 were introduced by oct1999. the other 50 were introduced around jan2001.

SBS Transit will order another 400 units of Scania K230 in addition to 500 units which are going to replace 2,800 buses. Read this link on the top.
you got read the middle paragraph?see what it says?it says that the scanias will be bodied by gemilang coachworks in malaysia.this is super great, excellent.
Our Scania K230UB only had slight difference.
Batch 1 - Low Bumper, no seat behind BC
Batch 2 - Bumper not as low as batch 1, a seat is added behind BC.
Batch 3 [future] - Euro 5 engine. I wonder will there be any difference on the bodywork and interior configuration.
Talking about interior configuration, SBS2695H, don't start a flame war on this, thank you.

For the thrid batch, I get a feeling that they might have a different layout - probably slightly more seats to allay the lack-of-seats complains. Depending on how changed the layout is, it might have a new bodywork - or not. We will just have to wait and see.
Personally, I'm hoping they will fit SBS 8033D's prototype bodywork into this batch...

Stop acting like a pro plz for goodness sake.

Anyway, diesel vehicles aren't always cleaner. Yes, they may have cleaner exhaust if they are EuroIV and above. However, their exhaust is still considered dirty compared to petrol engines due to the presence of diesel particular matter (PM). Diesel engine uses a heavier fuel oil aka Diesel Fuel. It is much more oiler than petrol and maintenance wise, they are extremely dirty to dealt with.
if he said diesel is ex, so you telling me go use petrol tat does not give good torque performance or even better jet grade kerosene?
you've been brainwashed. It is not Euro IV, now come out Euro V you say Euro IV pollutive? I believe they're still saying it's pollutive cos dun forget diesel is not taxed in S'pore which is meant to disencourage ppl to drive
if not why are BMW and Mercedes cars in Europe using diesel? for goodness sake, if they're well maintained they are cleaner than petrol cars
in fact, petrol cars has all those chemicals or addicitives tat leech into groundwater sources
like I've said, more impt is qn of maintenance

The interior configuration should likely be similar - 2 PIW slots with 4 abreast sitting opposite it and rear seats. Likely this configuration is standardised for Gemilang- bodied buses in the future.
