hopefully they never did bring this bus to the scarpyard.. After 3 months parking there, think they finally think of a way to repair the bus?

Let's find a scrapyard which deal with plastics, since the older buses are sent to scrapyards which deals with metal parts. ![]()

i think got to scrap le,de chassis front part totally damaged..unless send to Europe den send back, which i dont think SBS would wanna waste tt money just for 8074,hopefully can, take out de Gemilang bodywork, and let comfort delgo do it,hehe=x
Theres nothing at the front in the very first place.
The most headache thing that they would need to do is to find ways to repair the complicated dash which has been damaged due to the accident. The rest of the front is okay. They would just need to rebody the front.

The front was actually cut up by the SCDF to rescue the BC, hence giving many the impression that the bodywork was unable to withstand strong impact. In reality, the front was only damaged slightly more than what we usually see, however since the BC was stuck, SCDF personnel had to use tools to cut up the front of the bus (in particular the driver cabin) to rescue the BC.
But it made no sense to cut up the dashboard to rescue the BC lol. The dashboard was destroyed upon impact. The only place where SCDF cut up the bus was the side of the bus which is just beside the driver's seat. Then we see things like door controls hanging out. Lol. The press only took photos after the bus was cut up in the front and the BC sent to hospital. Hence most pictures look as though the bus was totally crushed.
SBS8338A to SBS8348X (except SBS8344G) registered today

I guess u need to brush up ur compre skills.
Unidentified KUB on training using sv358 route. Future KUB service?

I think so. I saw an unidentified KUB along Pasir Ris St 41 before. And the only service using Pasir Ris St 41 is 358, so maybe Sv358 really is a future KUB service.
WIth regards to SBS 8074K, maybhe someone could check the One Motoring web site and see if the bus is scrapped or still on lay-up.
I don't think SBS Transit will scrap such a new bus even though it has been badly damaged in an accident lest it's completely beyond repair (think: burning buses). The Scania K230UB is a current production model, and new ones are still being rolled-out, meaning that parts required to build (and hence repair) this bus is readily available. It might be possibly lying in some Gemilang or Scania factory right now and being rebuilt.

That's a good thing.
It's still on lay-up.
There isn't any Gemilang factory in Singapore. Since it's not in AMDEP, it may be at Scania HQ, awaiting repairs, IMO.
