Yea.. like that can save some costs. But I feel that the reception in most of the TV Mobile in O405 isn't that good. I love SBS9664 and SBS9406's TV Mobile on the other hand. The reception is good even when the bus approaches bumps and satellite centres along the way.
If the reception of TV Mobile is so weak, the sound and blurred images can be pretty irritating.

After ECP prior to entering Temasek Boulevard, Suntec Twr3, the fare stage will be 24.0, when it reaches the bus stop, it will jump 24.5. This happens if the front door is not opened. When it reaches the next stop, it will jump to 25.0. However, if the front door is opened, the fare stage will update itself after 5-7 second delay back to 24.5... Asked the BC before, he says "it's like tt one, the front door needs to be opened."
Imagine the number of passengers being overcharged at Suntec Twr 3 n the one opp Suntec bus stop? SBST's system software needs some overhaul...

of course not, unless u have a full load of passengers, it will affect e acceleration slightly - assuming u use e same amount of acceleration when a bus is full or empty.

I remember taking a Hispano-bodied DAF SB220 on a CSS bus route some years ago with an onboard radio; it was noiser than the bus engine.
