its been jumping slots dude.
its like a spare bus that is used to facillitate replacing 179 slots. doing this, its easier for starter to arrange his buses. like 3724, 3855 and 9249 for 143.
Monday 19S. Tuesday 23S. Wednesday 23S. Thursday 16S. Friday 23S again. Today 24S. replacing 9291 today
9092 was on 179 from mon - fri last week. 9162 was on 179 from mon - thu last week.

oh yes i forgot. my friends are only moving in to their hostels. i apologise, my bad.
okay i'm gg to sch now. 4 years of taking 179/A begins today! ![]()
TIB1018B: ok I hope I dont see a third case coming. :)
SBS9888Y: S95 S96 S151 Weekday schedule kicked in on Friday 25 Jul 08. Before that S151 was using Special1 (Weekday schedule with NUS holidays), S95 and S96 were using Holiday1 I presume. Under S151 Special1 and Holiday1, there's 2 xover buses from S151 to S200 (1 each peak), under Weekday the same S151 bus xover to S200 during both peaks.
News I received said that LTA was the one behind the B9s on 151. From a company's POV I would rather squeeze the tert concession payers on a K230 than to deploy a DD on 151. I believe subsidised paying passengers make up some 70% of S151's customer base.

Wow, DDs deployed on service 151, after a long wait. Think maybe service 96 should also get VO3x soon lol.
Also wondering where SBS8124A will land up to next.
2696 redeployed to 80, heard from jon. prolly got kicked cus of the B9 replacements on 151.

Funny guy. Ben is kind enough to post redeployments here. 7383A is being replaced by 9655C. Simple as that.

There should be no deployments of Vo3X other than B9TL on NUS services.

Then u are saying only svc 10 can use Vo3x although it does not pass NUS though...

Yes. I think i made myself clear enough. That's the reason for using B9TL for sv151 along NUS. If not SBST won't even deploy B9TL on sv151. And it was a request from LTA to deploy B9TL along NUS.

oo ok.
wonder if a VO2x/VO3x would ever cameo on 151

I wonder when will Service 10 get its share of B9TLs.

Maybe there will be. haha. However sure wont be perm.
For eg.
2696 2779 2812 are being requested by Nokia to deploy on certain routes. Despite they pay money to advertise, these 3 buses still get to cameo around. However, they sure wont be perm for other svc.
wad if one day 151 gets perm vo2x in exchange for the B9's. hehehe.

I think this is one of the rare cases where they took a bus's performance into significant consideration.
The VO2X is not too well-endowed with power and braking ability and does show a tendency to skid like the other Olympians.

if it happens NUS ppl gonna complain like siao again.. hehe. * ya! still got DD! why not! u wanted it! "whispers: but now is NAC hehehe"*

VO2 is quite good in terms of power cus of the weight and the engine is juz the right power to run it. unlike the VO3X, which is heavy and the aircon take a toll on the engine. not only that, sbst regulate the fuel pump by turning it down. so it makes the acceleration and speed even lousier
but i dun understand why the skid. isit cos its brakes not fit with ABS system?

It's the weight of the vehicle in question.
I've seen every type skid.....but the worst are the L113s and the Olympians. But that's just my observation.
Although I concur that the VO2X is not bad, but it does show strain on slopes that are only fairly steep with load. Contrast that to the B9TL, and I think you'll know why the B9TL is deployed instead.
Speaking of regulating fuel pumps, some of the VO3X can practically "fly" without it.![]()
