The depot takes in new buses if they are starting K230 on a service lor. Now we see AMDEP starting K230 on 86 + whatever services coming next mah. BNDEP a few new ones to put on 3, 17, 39; other than that no news already. SLBP after putting that 1 K230 on 240 then no news also, just merely taking in a few to add them into services like 66, 174 etc.

If they end up in BNDEP I hope BN keeps the seats unrefurb, the AMDEP DM3500 mostly have unrefurb seats which are better. Even though I live in BNDEP area, I hope that AMDEP keeps a few DM3500 like SLBP as their unique buses, redeploy them all together on the same Service.
Your logic is screwed.
Why amdep S162 DM3500 have unrefurb seats is because these buses were NOT used for IMF in 2006. 133 70 56 had temp Volvo buses replacing the Merc during the IMF period because of CCTVs installed on the bus. For 162, since its fleet at that time is a full Volvo fleet, all they need to do is to install CCTV in the bus and that's it.

Actually BN also has some DM3500 with unrefurb seats. So this means that the sole purpose of refurbishing the seats on the most Striders and DM3500 is for the IMF 2006 shuttle.

You seem to be very over-enthusiastic over new K230s from amdep for whatever reason. Judging from the new K230s 828x series that are yet to be out the numbers make up just nice for S162.
Like what mod said no prizes for guessing where the DM3500s will go..

Yup, AMDEP/BRBP style is like taking in new fleets and keep them inside the depots undeployed for around 1-2 weeks before they gets deployed. Services which are introduced with Scania K230UBs will normally gets its perm status with immediate effect, and also comes in batches. Same practice for BNDEP.
Unlike for HGDEP and ARBP/BBDEP which takes in new fleets of buses and puts them only as spare status for a period of time before they gets settle down to a perm service. That explains why some services especially from ARBP/BBDEP side were introduced with Scania K230UB fleets but gets only perm ones sometime later.
And for SLBP style is like some services that were introduced with Scania K230UB fleets but is only 1 single fleet in the entire fleet (like services 52, 154, 240), not even a cameo.

not true 52, 154 and 240 have cameo KUBs.
SLBP style is to put spare for awhile before putting it into services that need them or they want to put into.

Actually I had thought of that, but I think it would be better to have all the AMDEP 162 DM3500s redeployed all together to one of these Services mentioned.

why do you think all of the DM3500s needs to be redeployed together? how about the remaining buses there are not going to be replaced by k230s?

I'm waiting for 25th August.. its the last week for the 2 companies to tune their feeders to have <10min freq during peak.
Remember the last minute rush of adding split shifts to CBD services because of "improving the services along ERP affected corridors by having <12min freq during peak hours" in June?
