Further supporting your point, 2630U, 2789X, 2818X were Mk4s which amdep transferred over to hgdep. during IMF, amdep got the Mk4s from hgdep.

I think SBS2630U was already in HGDEP doing service 156 before the IMF periods.

I understand that some ex-amdep buses were graded "lousy". I've tried them before, and I can say that their standards are compareable to orignial slbp Mercz, so they are not very lousy afterall. What they are trying to say is that most of the better Mercz are still under amdep. There are still some good buses which went over to slbp.
Bias opinion rises against slbp, mainly because of the quality of buses slbp produced last time. It is like a stain to its name. Yes, I don't deny slbp has made some improvements, but the reputation has to be improved.

U should educate ur fellow AM fans too.. They should bear part of it. Dun just come in and pin-point at just one person. There is always such clash when it comes bet AMDEP and SLBP.

Ok, just to tell you, I don't show favourtism over any depots. Honestly speaking, the reason why people think you dislike amdep because you always stand up and shield slbp and made some unpleasant remarks over amdep buses. I am not showing any unhappiness with you, but sometimes you are the one who spark off such unwanted scenerio which often end up with people gang up and support each other.
And I've been very fair to you that I didn't say slbp buses are very lousy. But been taking Mercz for years, amdep Mercz have better standards of performance. Again, I didn't say slbp Mercz have low standards, don't jump to conclusion.
I hope you can show your fairness towards other depots other than slbp by not argueing back or showing sarcastic comments. By argueing back, anyone can just join forces to retaliate. So might as well stay out of such situations.

Based on my observation i think there's no need to argue which is best.Every depot got their style of doing things and some of them are unpleasant ones.SLBP is similiar like SMRT AMDEP,Loves to take off the nut guard,jerky transmission but still the buses doesn't had much problem for duties.We must know that there's lot of old timer tech in SLBP,Their way of maintaining the engines are diff from the new tech at other depots.
Quite fun looking at all the comments....lalala...if there is any SBST depot I'd like, it would be Sengkang LRT.
I don't know why, but I don't see any specific amdep supporters here. It is just that people base their judgement on their observations.

That's show hw bias they are.. I had nv mention that all SLBP mercz are better than AMDEP. All are plus minus the same. AMDEP refurbished the mercz flooring completely and paint whether they see dirty sides but SLBP want to save money and just cover those flooring which are dirty, damaged and handrails replaced. When it comes to LO3x, SLBP do the complete flooring and also specially rectify each crack and re- paint the back of the seats . Overall, I kind of found out that depot maintain the model of buses they had most better and each place priority differently.
Next time, we can compare more other types of model :)
