why are there two service 291 at tampines interchange?
why dont SBS change one of them to another service number?
Heard of Townlink? For the fare of one bus ride, the bus can take you from one neighbourhood to another via the interchange/town centre instead of having to take 2 feeder services by transferring at the interchange.
Before this happened in 1996, Tampines had 290, 291, 292, 293, 294, 295, 296 and 297. 291 was merged from the original 291 and 295. 293 was formed by merger of the original 293, and 297.
To add on, 290 was merged with 220 to become 38.
