105 have liao lor.
Feeder services should be among the first to receive the WABs. Especially for SMRT's new buses. Many old people ride those buses, and would benefit the most. Reality is, currently not many wheelchair bound people would use buses. MRT yes, but buses - hardly.
Oh... I didnt know about the 105.
SMRT would be 187, 190.
190 has a lot of old people taking to Chinatown.

But, 197 got pass by 5 hosp and chinatown(as junyang700 said).
65 is a nevermind but I live in Tampines ma, so more WAB at Tampines better lor.

B9Tl lor...same for 197...
they should consider investing to make conversions to VSOs to make it wheelchair accessible. besides, only got 52.

yeah, same for the DT and Volvo CNG bus somehow...

it won't solve the problem as services that have VSO only have 2-3 of them.

Yeah, and I think SMRT's Dennis Lances can also be converted into WAB. Just eliminate the step at the exit and add a ramp, and replace with a plug door can liao.
For SBST, I think 73 deserves to have WAB.
For SMRT, maybe 961, 980, 61, and 851.

Although its possible to add a wheelchair lift at the rear exit for the lances, i think they need some very strong seatbelts for the wheelchairs. The accleration and brakes of the vehicle is just... wow.

all buses passing YCK Rd. near your house.
I think that the service that had k230 or B9TL but not WAB must be wab.
Next few service, 197 agree-in fact seen one B9 cameo 197 before, at first think is 196...later see clearly...197
And those whose area are mostly old pple should also have wab.
For smrt, the 190 deployment is fine cause chinatown got old pple, should add 851 in too...but 66 buses plus some next year...smrt at most can have 10 plus wab services nia
If there are many old people taking the service, wouldnt it be enough by just deploying buses who are low floor ? What is the use of deploying a Wheelchair Accessible Bus when the demand is that of old people who doesnt really need the wheelchair facilities but rather the low entry ?
Seems that somehow or rather, Low Floor and WAB has been mixed up.

Thats pretty true, and in fact, most abled seniors i've spoken to rather have a seat on the bus rather than having spaces taken up for wheelchairs. The Elbos are pretty good for this job with 45 seats compared to other low floor/entrance buses.

yes.. the ruling is ALL buses to WAB by (please insert year).. which wouldnt include the other low floor buses like the VSOs/DTs & all.
was just giving a suggestion if they wanted to have more WAB services w/o having to purchase new buses..

if they were WAB, deployments definitely would change. ![]()

2020, down from 2023 previously
Think soon SBST will soon make services 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 53, 57, 60, 63, 64, 100, 105, 119, 130, 131, 133, 151, 163, 165, 183, 232, 238, 265, 268, 291 and 293 a WAB service too.
Why so like that one. I don't really like light much
All services for the benefit of everyone.
