New Service 128 from 7th July

demand will be there if it takes you to where your house is. so no longer need to walk/switch bus to/fro mrt station.

Yeah. currenly svc 72 serves the poly (to Hougang and Tampines onlu) and it would be good for this svc to stop at nyp so that the student may have a conviment ride from AMK, bishan and Typ direct to NYP instead of the MRT. correct me if I am wrong.
edit: but then again AGAIN, it is SBST and LTA choice not ours! -

143 takes 20-25min to get from Toa Payoh to Orchard.. so its like skip or never skip like no difference.. hope they can cut run time.. -

did u read carefully the press release? pls go and see the timing... the morning trip are from YCK to Shenton Way.. not the other way round.. So if Sv 128 stop at NYP, that mean the students will take the evening trips only...Do u really understand or not?
from toa payoh can take 159 go NYP. From bishan can take Sv 162. From AMK ave 8 also can take Sv 159...

There again,
AMK can take svc 86, 265, 159, 851, 852, 853
Bishan can take svc 13 or 162 (Given u want to walk)
Tpy direct svc 159
So isnt it direct enough?
If u study in NYP, and dun know about this few services, dont comment on it.
And take note! Svc 45 159 72 70 given which exit you cuming out from. Know your stuff well enough or else u will be shoot at for being posting unwanted post. -

there should be some crossover connection for the 4 buses under the 128 fleet.

The advantage of route 128 is that the SBSTransit Season Pass is valid for use on it unlike the North-South line.

I don't think they are targeting people from AMK to Shenton Way, they have premium. More like individual sections like AMK-TPY or Bishan/Braddell (where there is a very silm chance of getting into the train)-Novena/Newton/Orchard. They are using price (esp with season pass) of the good/service to attract people. -

he is saying that NYP students go home between 718am - 754am.
and they report back to school between 731 pm - 807pm.
