Actually, SMRT also need more bendies too....
doesn't mean by having more bendies will solve the prob..
i dont think its neccessary to use bendies, except during weekends where demands are much higher (those frm Sentosa going home). They also have Dennis Lances, which can carry a lot of standing passengers. Those who want to take NAC DDs, its best to take @ Boon Lay. There are very few of these plying 93 and 74 nowadays.
But with larger a capacity bus, they can allevate some problems with large crowds.
I think it's adding of 4 more S shift buses... for me I think 22 or 24 bus fleet would suffice

Do u know how pack can 811 get during morning/ evening peak on the north loop (ex 801), sending 2 bendies to 855 will only make it worse.

I can see that you know nothing about 811's loads.
5 bendy / 5 rigid fleet is just nice to supplement the 811 fleet, nowadays alot of the rigid drivers are taking SP bendies from AMDEP or YIBP because their rigids are always packed to the brim, even leaving pax at Yishun to wait for next bus during peak hours (waiting time ranges from 3 minutes to 13 minutes FYI). 811 only got 8 fullday and 2 extended (S2) shifts. Off peak frequency is very bad.
By taking away 2 FULLDAY bendies, aren't you trying to kill Yishun passengers?
Maybe service like 800 bendies after PM peak hours can crossover to 855 in exchange for rigids?22-24 buses for 855 is too much,maybe 19 buses will do

Actually give 855 perm bendies (on S1 or S2) should do. No need for some messy crossovers here and there. 800 has 4 fullday and 1 extended S2 shift(s)... And I find it a bit hard for 800 buses to crossover to 855 even after PM peak because once the 800S201 bus ends shift the load increases again...
I would say its a no-no for any crossovers from any of the Yishun feeders. By compromising the buses in exchange for lesser load on 855, it increases the waiting time at Yishun feeders where the bulk of the passengers lie. So I would say, unless AMDEP uses SBST's way of doing fleet addition then crossover (like the 128 ones), if not 855 should get bendies as perm splitters.

Erm, that was my point when i said buy more bendies and expand SMRT's fleet. lol
Exchange 2 or 3 855 rigids with 61 bendies,WLDEP 61 side need to put in more bendies

But then the point about redeployment is that u have a constraint, which is not enough buses to go around.
If u can expand the fleet as and when u want to, why would u still need to redeploy different buses on different routes when u can just keep on buying new ones and throwing them at the services thats needed.
