  Hmm , sometimes this also common on any other service , some people boarded the bus and didn't realise that he/she forgot to tap his/her card when boarding. But the part where BC greeted that old woman but nvr tap card , kinda weird..

  Or maybe the old lady was too happy to get greeted by the BC (dosent happen often) that she forgotten to tap her card.

  too poor to pay fare is just excuse. it depends on the person's mindset and character whether to lead an honest life and not be looked down by people. i don't think majority of people will look down on others who are cleaners, etc but make an honest living. rather, people will look down on those who are fit enough to work but choose not to. and these people tend to blame all sorts of things for their plight except themselves. spore is still too soft on fare evaders. even the inspectors look soft and helpless when nabbing fare evaders. who is afraid? we should perhaps learn from Australia such as impose higher fines of $100 with subsequent offence up to $500, deploy at least 2 inspectors per inspection, employ tough and big size inspectors, ensure police authorities support when caught a rebellious fare cheat including arrest on the spot, jail. fare evasion is no different from stealing, shoplifting, software piracy. if all these offences are penal offences punishable under the law, i don't see why fare evasion ought to be taken lightly, esp when our govt is determined to safeguard the interests of investors and companies.

  963 service really koyak. I arrived at Woodlands Int at 7.50 pm, and at least 4 SBS161 arrived before my 963 came (TIB 826S) at 8.25 pm.

   

  Bleah like that also want to raise fares!
