For those who only see the micro picture of the problems affecting their friendly neighbourhood feeder/school bus service, you ain't seen the bigger picture yet. With such a high-density working population in the downtown areas converging on the system during the two peak hours, our PTOs have a far bigger problem to worry about (as compared to whether your schoolmate can get on the bus or not).
Be glad that you even have a feeder bus to take you home from school, or to the shopping mall for you to hang out. How many children in other equally developed countries have this privilege? The most common forms of transportation from school are either cycling or walking.
To all these students I only have this to say: you guys are a fortunate bunch so make the most of what you have.
i guess e education campaign has to intensify particularly in sch. if ppl repeatedly don not move to e rear, then i guess enforcement is required for both bus n MRT.

Not everything needs to be educated. Shouldn't it be common sense that when u see ppl trying to squeeze to board the bus, ppl at the rear should move in automatically? Or do ppl nowdays need to be forced. Maybe the transport companies can hire some "foreign talent" to help us.
I agree w Sv_190. these people r juz "bu Zi dong" or "kiasu", n its just e few of them who create such problems.

Sometimes a lot of people don't know why some BCs don't shout. I have witnessed cases when BC shout to call passenger to move in, the passenger scold back the BC. I guess nobody likes to be scolded when you are doing your job. Then if the BC dont call them to move in, the passengers stuck outside will scold the BC. It's difficult to be balanced and make all passengers happy. There's sure to be people not really happy. Since passengers don't know how to think for others, let them squeeze at the entrance.
The best part is when the BC becomes friendly and start to wave at ppl..
Especially common on SMRTB..
