ok my bad.. my perm list had an error.. S28 added 2 SDs to replace the 579 buses after it changed its supplementary service.

What's your problem? Everyone has told you that the buses will return to their parent service! When 575 was introduced, 3 buses were taken out from 9 to serve 575, at the same time, the buses could still crossover to 9 to cater to the demand during peak hours.
Observe first than making wrong comments.
many people have told me about you, and its not of the positive range.
kindly think before you speak. service 36 seems to be overcrowded due to the lack of drivers. all the more the new buses like k230s should take over to load more pax in.
Originally posted by SBS2695H:Have anyone thought of another possible reason for withdrawal is the shortage of BCs other than very low demand?
no... withdraw due to low demand... especially 537 & 580
Btw, why svc 816 (CT28) change to festive season ? I see about 4-5 pax board the bus around weekday afternoon

if everything shortage of driver, I might as well pull out some Sv 143 SD's and redeploy them to BR for Sv 139 ![]()
since 143 has 'too many buses'

dun use 143 and try and be sarcastic in front of me. i hate people who use 143 and 9888 to shoot me. if you want to shoot me shoot me with ur facts.
143 has shortage also. dun you know shortage everywhere. i waited 55mins for my next bus at Somerset it was at the BR timings. there was only 1 P shift BC after 7pm from BRBP doing the loner shift, 2 of the P shifts are shua 1 tang, the other one is 9188 brokedown on 143 later. mind you.
sad case loh SLBP BCs love doing 143. ![]()
even if buses go over, no driver.

you know why?
cos bet 1800 - 1900 at Thomson Rd there can be 4 buses together
you say shortage, there are buses that are running around and other ppl are complaining tat buses are packed
dun come and tell me you hate ppl shooting this and tat, I think you would tell ppl to tahan this and tat

not wild imagination
there are always buses tat supply cannot keep with demand
you've not seen how packed Sv 139 can go during PM peak

you dun have to personal attack wor.
there are 5 s shift buses plying through there at that time and the s shift BCs are very consistent. the 3 gassies, 7485 and the DD behind the 3rd gassy (2996). 3 of them off service at toa payoh together (7485 2996 Preventive Maint DD).
frequency is purposely made like that to carry the load esp at pasir panjang.
if you angry, go complain to SBST, dun do it here. waste of cyberspace.

dun ask so much. already said its the lack of drivers. 139 already add 1 S shift. i live in toa payoh i do see the long queues but most of the Toa Payoh Int pax alight at whampoa.
last time used to have LO3x on 139 turn inside ah hood rd. now dun have due to many sharp turnings.
i shall end the debate here.

dun take it as personal attack, you say it now because you dun like it when ppl tell you to tahan right?
but the thing is this, why other svs cannot have tis kind of arrangement?
Dun tell me to complain to SBS, even RSAF Open Hse they refuse to admit their fault. nothing strange, who wants to admit it anyway? ![]()

this is what i'm saying, if you wanna see a change, complaint to SBST. dun ask so much here.
ok lets talk about 139.
about a solution for 139, for me i feel 139M should be implemented, something like a 163M but its from Toa Payoh Int to Balestier (ITE). Utilize the S shift BCs. SBS485K ends service at Toa Payoh around 6.20pm and from there it can do 2 trips on 139M. SBS386M usually ends service about 640pm it can also do a crossover. Service 145's 29S ends at about 7pm. so from there it can crossover to 139M for 1 trip. 139M can facillitate from 6.15pm - 7.45pm. using different s shift buses to facillitate fetching whampoa residents home.
anyway nvm
carry on
because now ppl wants to use customer satisfaction index as factor for fare hike though I'm not in for tis because of wat's going on now w/ passenger factor

Sv36 DOES NOT have a shortage of drivers, the svc gets delayed due to traffic conditions, btw do u take sv36 at all any time? If not, please refrain from commenting

BNDEP is the only depot which got the highest percentage of shortage of drivers.

But it does not affect sv36 as far as i m concerned coz i take the bus everyday, i am answering to the point of shortage of sv36 drivers, furthermore K230UB should be delayed for introduction on sv36 due to the shortage of seats
551 is it return back to S27? Cos S27 frequency during peak hours can be like less than a minute.

traffic conditions play a part to most city services. thats just a small built on factor.
what i question is the credibility of this sentence. Sv 36 DOES NOT have a shortage of drivers.
shortage of drivers = slots with no drivers.
551 goes back to 27.
575 goes back to 9.
577 goes back to 70.
back to their parent services as split shifters.
does not really affect much. the timings for the buses are about the same as before. maybe add one trip at most? and obviously that they do not crossover to CityShopper
Changes due to withdrawal of CityShopper 580 in reference with the Jurong East rosters.
from next week.
66 add 1 S shift
reduct the T shift crossover to 580.
SBS8487C added in. perm A/P replacing SBS2784J slot.
SBS2784J move to the new S shift slot.
105 add 1 S shift
reduct the A/P shift crossover to 580.
SBS544Z added back to 105. perm A/P replacing SBS474S slot.
SBS474S move to the new S shift slot.
334 add 2 S shift
reduct the 2 T shift crossovers to 580.
SBS167D and SBS3850U occupies the 2 new S shift slots.
overall
1) 105 reduct 1 bus after PM Peak.
2) SBS359S now becomes spare. replaced by SBS8487C.

Think we need to define shortage here. The argument can go in circles for all you guys know.
Or quit arguing all together.
Misinterpreted.
