Probably the rules have changed. ![]()

Will ask HGDEP BCs (if possible) whether they know where does the route go to ![]()

117 from Serangoon to CCK?
Haizz... I hope the upcoming svc 117 goes the same route as svc 190 ( from CCK Int till entrance to KJE)...

c properly b4 u fire off, "i said from Upper East Coast Ter, mayb Hougang ctrl"
i DID NOT type the word "to", c properly before u reply and DO NOT misquote and ADD IN your assumptions into my sentence! There was a comma after Upp East Coast Ter in my sentence

Sad to say but 117 won't be implemented anytime soon (but definitely within 6 months else.....). Why I say so? Because come Aug 08, we will see improvements in the frequency of feeder services (announced by PTC). This will mean additional buses and drivers. SBST has buses but they do not have enough drivers. Therefore, I reckon they will want to put their resources into better use to fulfill PTC requirements before they would want to introduce new services. On top of that, don't forget they have other new services to introduce (eg Off peak Service 41), which I think will be introduced earlier than 117. They have other amended routes to implement as well. It is likely that we will see these amended routes very soon :)
Having said this, I am also very interested to see when 117 will be introduced. This is really a highly anticipated service.

Probably 115 will be replaced by the upcoming 117. We never know......
Hmmm... Wat fleet do u guys tink for the upcoming svc 117? I confirm 100% that there will be K230UBs.. Maybe thers a chance to have the new MAN bus in the svc if SBST might buy some more of that bus..

The best that I saw was 3/4 seated during morning peak hours, or during the time when aunties and uncles go for marketing ![]()

Not all new services get K230s straight from the start. Or rather, new services don't get new buses when they are newly introduced, except for S128.

S68 has demand during peak hours in certain directions. People go to work in the morning, and return home in the evening. To increase its demand, it should probably serve Tampines Ave 5 instead of Ave 4 or make it serve more of Tampines. It is very inconvenient to get in directly to the industrial park.

I would rather see them extend S48 as its currently 9 months overdue.

Most people will walk out to Tampines Ave 5 or Bedok Res Rd because there got alot more buses, better then taking "the useless S68" to Tampines Int.

I think so too. I guess 41 would be from Upper East Coast to Jurong East via a different route from 506, like what I suggested several months ago in the Route Suggestions topic.
