demos ar...i think it is the company wanting to buy new buses, then look for models that fit in their fleet. then when they come across a model which they like, they request for a demo from the company for use for a year, which ownership of the bus is under the company of the bus. when they are satisfied, they will then decide how many to buy, depending on the cost of the bus and their budget.

Ownership is under the dealer during the trial period. The Co. will then decide if they want to buy that unit after a period of 1yr. During this period of time, all maintance will be under the Dealer and not the Bus Co. itself.
Demos is given when SBS or SMRt want to consider to buy new buses, but is is up to the company selling to make the decision
alas...wondering if SBS n SMRT would buy e demos themselves, instead of companies loaning demo buses
SMRt got the demo for the OC5000LE.I believe they would buy at least 200 of those fleets. And last thing I would want to tell you guys....,Demos are no good.Should take the real one.Demos only one.Others got 500 for KUBs. Demos not really good to take.

Demostrater is like an appetizer to the main course. In other words, SBS wants to test run the bus on it's service for a period of time. Then, they will hold a meeting to decide whether the bus should be handed over to the manafacturer or buy the demostrater and make orders for more. If they chose to give it back, that could mean either the bus is stored at the manafacturer's HQ or given to another company for trials or sell it overseas or locally.

ok lo, but SBS is generally okay, it is not as serious as mentioning SMRT as TIBS...., i did not meant to insult ur username...sry in advance
anyway we cannot affect both SBS n SMRT's decision about buying demos. its more about our dream demos that could be brought in.
