Merc-0405 seats are so cramp why?
i think is u fat?
HOHOHOHOHO.. YOUR SO FAT YOU DIDNT SIT IN THE BUS, YOU SAT ON THE BUS.. HOHOHO
I am not fat and i mean my legs have no space to put
i was just kiddin relax.. lols have a chills pills
you not happy then you can walk to your destination, nobody force you to take bus..
more seats save space
Merz O405? No space? Thats the biggest joke ever.
If the seats are less cramp, there will be fewer seats. Fewer seats = discourage people from taking public transport. Look at our KUBs where the legroom is so extra big. I believe more seats can be squeezed into a KUB. For example, for the space where the 4 sidefacing seats are located, I believe if the seats are frontfacing, there can be 6 seats at the front. At the rear, there can be more seats if the legroom is smaller. I don't really see the need for a bigger legroom if fewer people can seat.
If you sit straight, for sure you'll have space.

the K230UB can have 2 more seats above left wheel and 2 more above right if no box thingy. also can chop off 1 of the piw space and put 4 more seats

Chop off one PIW space is a against WAB. What we need is for both types of commuters to benifit.

i take 123 that time.. empty.
185... 4 times liao. Always empty.
Why not leave it to 1 PIW space only?
Tell me. Have you ever seen a case where 3 KUBs arrive and all with TWO PIW inside it?
I agree. The two PIW slots are unnecessary. I think one would suffice. After all the B9s only have one slot. I think SBST wanted a large standing area. And since the area is so large, then might as well put 2 slots for wheelchair.
0405 cramped? Then you obviously have not sat on a MKIII before. The only berable seats on the MKIII are the side facing one, and the one immediately after the side facing one on the right, the first forward facing seat on the left side, assuming there is no one seating on the seat opposite, and the exit row on the right. Nothing else.

I think for their new buses, they shld put the two PIW spaces such that the backs face each other. Then there will be basically more space cuz there wont be a huge rectangular object in the middle. Either that or put just 1. Anyway the mark iii... backward seats also alright.

I guess they want the wheelchair passenger rear facing to prevent them from flying forward in a crash or hard braking.

I think u are refering to the seat below the wheel =)
I agree on his view on certain seats, the axle seats, i am 1.83m tall and always need to seat sideways in such seats, so i made it a point to seat at the non-axle seats.

The others are not disabled and are more capable of saving themselves. Besides, only the passenger fly. Better than the chair and the passenger fly.
All the old buses do not have sufficient leg space particularly the seats above e wheels, except for Volvo Striders n DM3500s
