Yeah, those NAC Volvo MK2s
In place now are the Scania K230UBs.
Seems like a major transformation on service 151 from Volvo NAC MK2 fleets to Scania K230UB fleets in just 1-2 months.

yesterday saw 2 Striders on 48 bunching along Bukit Timah towards Buona Vista slightly after noon.
2 Service 920 buses together (1 perm, 1 from Service 75 evening crossover)
- Service 920 seldom or rarely bunched up together, given the poor frequency it has..
4 Service 190 buses arrived together and jam the whole place @ Blk 270 bus stop, BPJ Rd towards NBR

Perhaps it's easier for Service 190 to beat that during the good old days of SBS.... Now ah? *pondering*
Two sv 45 bunch up at jln eunos twds amdep. at 2000hr+.
Given the freq at night is 15 to 20min +. haha.. still can bunch up.

Service 27 always likes come in gangs of 3-4 buses
. Sometimes in a gang of only Scania K230UBs, or even a gang of Volvo MK4s of different varients without any sign of Scania K230UBs.
S189 split shift and AM shift in the mornings, often three buses within 5 minutes, means one bus in 1.67 minutes. Coming together wise (bunching), record was three buses, once three PM shifts (517J, 519D and 520Z in order, due to accident at Clementi) and another few times S shift bendies and one PM shift 12 meters.
Rarely will have 4 buses come together unless jam until very 'jia-lak'.
S174, one morning saw a B9TL climbing the slope at Bukit Batok East Ave 6 towards city, and the other B9TL was already at Blk 283 bus stop. At first I thought the second one was a S157 B9TL... ![]()

Last Thursday I took SBS8137M on service 27 in the morning peak from Sengkang to CGA police station. The bus was crowded between Sengkang to Tampines Central, after which most of the pax alighted at the bus stop along Tampines areas. The last stop where most of the pax alighted was at the bus-stop outside Tampines Mall before turning into Ave 5 and heading towards PIE. By then the bus was left with about 7-8 pax heading towards CGA.

Service 36 like not as many Scania K230UBs as what other CGA services got in the beginning. Think service 24 started off with 2 fleets, service 34 with 4 and service 53 with about 6-7 fleets. Service 27 had Scania K230UBs later which started off as 12-13 fleets.
after 151 got K230UBs, bunching becoming more frequent.

bndep was wise to put 1 on S36 for a start. Partly may be due to advertisements, another may be due to the jump bus system it practices throughout the day. 8266Z would have at least 7-8 BCs driving it every day. I guess that would be enough for them as if they keep driving K230 on every other trip, the schedule for S36 would be screwed up. Just look at what 8266Z did for the past 2 days.. Its back bus never fail to catch up with it.
