i work near there as well and i know St 5 DOES NOT lead to St 6. these two Street does not connect at all. can go and study the map if u wish.
i admit it my mistake, but the scrap yard it there at st 6. maybe the road sign not show clearly as i was driving follow the tow truck. but i work at st 2. the same busstop just go into st 6 all the way to the end of the road and turn right until u c address 35 there where the scrap yard and some sbs buses park in there waiting to scrap. belive or not up to u.

by the way in case u all wonder, it is taking smrt 925 there drop at the busstop opp st 5 and walk in to st 5 all the way to end of the road turn right and u can c the place at 35 st 6. if you want to go there perfer time will be on sunday as it is off day for the truckers which going in and out at st 5.
seats? doors? sounds like refurbishment
. not scrapping! buses would arrive at the scrapyard w/o seats if im not wrong

Its more like a refurbishment rather than scrapping. IF you have seen a SBST Bus going to the scrapyard before. You would have known that by the time the bus reaches the scrapyard, its just an empty shell. Nothing more.
hello, lemon1974 has u been to see the scrap yard at st 6?
it seem like the TS have been bombarded by so many "senior members" here, by insisting that the TS is wrong and the scrap yard should be in Defu...
anyway, i can confirm that what the TS said is true. THis site is definitely not a refurnishment site.. It is a scrapyard, for the workers to remove those usable parts of these buses/lorries etc to consolidate and ship out, before scrapping the rest of whole bus.
and i saw SBS261/SBS305 down there today, together with a LO3x, plus around 5 more Merc (unknown rego). Actually i just saw SBS261 inside AMDEP last week only... now it is at this scrapyard alrd. and for that LO3x, i think it might be SBS9149.. not sure whether there is other LO3x which got into accident..
anyway, talk so much also no use. Show u one picture.

you are wrong.. usually SBST buses will arrive at the scrapyard together with seats, unless those seats are very new and SBST might remove it before sending the bus to scrapyard. I saw SBS324 being tow out of AMDEP with the seats still intact..
the refurnishment of some SBST buses are being done at Sungei Kadet St 2 or St 3 there. Not at this place.

yes.. drove there today.. very ulu place. Not recommend to go there, if you are taking bus. You will walk a long long way and it is very dusty there due to the cement factories and wood/heavy machinery factories... a lot of heavy vehicles moving around...
i thought someone said 9149Y was saved?
then die again ? lol ..
i think the merc on the right is 3839D ..
so sad to see them go like that . when the merc still can be used ..

not so sure abt 9149 but that bus is definitely a LO3x. unless there are other LO3x which meet with an accident? Think SBS9149 will be deregistered soon..
as for the merc in the middle, it have a blue ad if i am not wrong. not sure abt the rego. the WA is SBS261.
If the scrapyard is in Defu,I would like to see,but where is the place??? Defu Lane 1,2,3??
So sad for the 0405, however is defu area HGDEP?
wow.... so many sbs buses waiting to be scrapped
