I haven't been seeing any Ads on the skyliner boards other than the ones with the cows with the quote "Moove The Sky". So if you have view other ads on that board, would you be kind enough to tell me more about it?
So is it just an extra boards above the buses to showcase more ads or do you think it is going to have more features?
Or am I wrong in the first place for classifying the extra boards above those buses as skyliner? Tell me what you know about the new skyliner on the buses.
Hi Tamago.
So are those boards on above the buses called skyliner?
Yes , those are skyliners , been there since last year...
Ah, I see. Thanks guys. I didn't really know about it until recently as these boards with flying cows keep appearing.
This is a photo of a Merz Benz with skyliner ( Just a Eg. )

there are qutie a number of BNDEP buses with skyliner.

Currently no, unless advertisers want to advertise on services with no normal SD fleet.
Rednano's ad had a opening on the skyliner:
The normal blue colour Moove ad:
don't ask me, ask OCBC
Doesn't something like that increase drag and therefore fuel consumption?

Well, given the height of the KUBs, I think not possible. they are slightly taller than other SDs. But I maybe wrong. It's just my opinion.

Are you trying to say that after adding the Skyliners on the KUBs, the bus will be taller than 4.5m ?
Even if the KUBs are really taller, they could also reduce the height of the skyliner...
Pls be more flexible.....

Me really wish to see a KUB with skyliner too..i believe it will look nice =)
But i doubt it will happen in the near future ba, still can see many buses with skyliners awaiting for ads running around =P
By the way, does anyone know what happened to the skyliners which are removed off the mark 2s, are they transferred to other buses or kept at one corner?

If i am not wrong, 1255 is the only UD or most probably the only SMRT bus with a skyliner.

to me, i would prefer buses with no ads or the ads do not go onto the windows (Malaysian city buses do that) , otherwise i cant c anything outside!
K230UB maybe no skyliner as no service is pure KUB, the skyliner can be placed in other buses.
In my opinion, skyliner is nice to look at but not many are taken out, i felt the reason is that if the advertiser just book skyliner but not full bus, it would be odd, therefore, it was not fully taken up.
Cheers

U can see through the adds, it is highly perforated as there are holes, however, hated taking such buses when u want to take pics of other buses, cannot see clearly.
I really hope that the new buses would not fitted with skyliner,Just ugly.Just my 2 cents thought. If you feel uneasy then hack me

Depending what types of ads makes the bus beautiful.
There are complains that sunlight is glaring. At least such ads are forms of sun shade from the eyes. If you don't like your sitting position, change to another seat. Be flexible.
im not worried about sunlight glaring on me. to me, its about having to strain your eyes when looking outside! argh!
