Y svc 291 kik out VO2s and VO3s dd for? thot that this svc am and pm peak always full of ppl.
Vo2x was kik out of 291 becoz it went over to SLBP to replace the old Lo2X. As for Vo3X on 291, I dunno why in 2004 it have perm then suddenly went to svc like 31, 10? Fyi, SBS9807G did 291 also when it was at BNDEP... :) -

Most B9 cameos came from bndep. brbp only deployed once, which is SBS7495K. -

The VO3X came in to S291 to replace the NAC DDs. However, although S291 is a demanding service, the loops along this route is short and passengers generally don't prefer moving their way up to the upper deck as it may be inconvenient for those who live nearby, climb up and down.At that time, S291 had 6 VO3X: SBS9234J SBS9242K SBS9277K SBS9289B SBS9305M SBS9355T.
1st, SBS9289B SBS9305M went to S9
2nd, SBS9234J SBS9242K went to S19 in exchange for SBS602P SBS651Y
3rd, SBS9277K SBS9355T went to S31 to cope with the increase demand of S31 to Simei ITE.SBS9807G was the only B10TL cameo from bndep and never again.

I think he meant furthest away from northeast. Is it? Please clarify. Because in another post, you mentioned furthest OFF northeast. If so, then answer should is 156 coz it goes to Clementi.

oo I see... at least SMRT feeders are able to used bendies becoz it is not double deck (except for Bukit panjang feeders) -

Bendies are useful to cater to short route high demand services. DD for long distances.
