just wonder much a long bus cost compare to a dd which cost about 300 to 400k plus plus. maybe smrt should has a dd trial out on a service like 190. under sbs 190 is a dd service. smrt can borrow a sbs dd for trial. but i think smrt will not provide any dd for it services as it management said before they will not get dd buses for it serives. unless l t a force smrt to change it mind. may the long bus is too long for singapore road. i can read many complain in newpapers about smrt long buses swaying dangerously in out of traffic
IF SMRT decides not to buy DDs for watever reason, then e only way to cope w pax load is to increase e standing capacity = less seats. Anyway it's not up for us to decide for them.
oh yeah, does 858 able to use bendys??? Since other SBST unable to use DD in Changi Airport due to height restrictions....
