I PROTEST FROM THIS STATEMENT!!!
As a "Tampineser", I take mostly 579 for my suntec ride! and if you just wan to change them to express svcs,then Tampines,Sengkang ad Punggol de ppl bu si can(then die liao lol).Cannot bring child onboard.And see the Express fares and Cityshopper fares below:
Eg: Suntec to Tampines east CC for 2 adults and 2 10-year old student(consession holders)
Express 518 will be:($2.20 x 2)+($2.30 x 2)
=$4.40 + $4.60
=$9
Cityshopper 579 will be:($3.30 x 2) + ($1 x 2)
=$6.60 + $2
=$8.60
So,who win? And travelling time for 518 is abt one and a half hours.579 abt 1h can liao.

That one i dunno liao.Maybe can rite a letter to SBSt.
And,579 needs to serve Simei as there's no direct bus to the City(unless 12)
And svc 12 is a long route.I've experienced from Pasir Ris to Bugis Junction.It takes me just 2 hours to reach my destaniation.
