Lor 7 cannot immediately turn right into Lor 5. I suggest though that 142 be changed to use Lor 1 and Lor 2 before going back out to Swimming Complex and Potong Pasir.
Anyways, your 151, 154, 966 idea is quite good. You might want to include 5 and 985 too. However, PTC may not allow 966, 985 because Toa Payoh SBST Territory (though i will welcome it as it will now be more convenient for me to go home from Woodlands or Bt Batok/CCK as I can now alight at Swimming Complex instead of Trellis, more buses there that go to Lor 4 =P

And you left 105 as it is =P xD

lor 4 tpy is the centralised branch for all routes. diverting it off to other secondary branches would drop the demand for the routes diverted and the feeders.

suggest bus fans to use the new ly opened brickland rd with no bus stops/no trafficlight/an efficient link from bukit batok to CCK in less than 10minswhen there's no jam,avoid it during rush hour.

Creative, but all of your suggestions i like, especially 65 use PIE.

It doesn't give you wings if you are quite clear about the demand of services in Tampines. You don't understand the demand at Toa Payoh and you look as though you want to conquer that area.

There are reasons why routes are planned this way. SBST and SMRT do survey on the routes before planning. It is not a bunch of kids planning routes disconnecting Singapore.

I suggest if you are not strong at certain areas, don't throw your weights.

Proposed route suggestions of a new trunk service 126 from Ang Mo Kio to Boon Lay.

The purpose of this service is to provide a trunk service to NTU campus.

Based on the estimated demand of 179, the estimated demand of this service should be high too based on the factors listed below.

1. This service links Ang Mo Kio to NTU. Students residing at Hougang Ave 8, Hougang Ave 4, Serangoon Nth Ave 1, AMK estate are most likely to utilise this service to travel to NTU.

Take for example, a NTU student living at Hougang Ave 8 will take 74 and transfer to 126 at AMK Ave 3 instead of the conventional way (74 to AMK, AMK to Boon Lay then 179). From AMK to Boon Lay, it takes around 49 mins plus some additional time for transfer of 179.

This service will take around 40 mins (off peak) to 80 mins (peak) to get to NTU from AMK. In addition, it saves the hassle of multiple transfers.

2. This service also links Bukit Batok to NTU and provides an alternative from Boon Lay to NTU. NTU students residing along Bt Batok East Ave 3 can utilise this service to get to their school. In addition, students residing near Jurong West St 62, St 63 have an alternative to Boon Lay int (currently served by 243 and 257) and a direct link to NTU and AMK.

3. It is the only service in NTU that provides links to beyond Jurong West estate and the distance of the route is relatively ok with 35 fare stages in total with 33% of it are considered "express sectors".

Yes, good idea (quicker link between Bt Batok & AMK), but the Bt Batok area route seems to duplicate 174 too much. Why not let the service run express on the PIE instead of Jurong Rd, or bypass IMM and then down Jurong Town Hall Rd? Or let it travel along Upp Bt Timah Rd like 852, before entering Old Jurong Rd?

Suggestion 1. Is it possible to rename feeder service 410 as feeder service 340? Then there would be greater usage of 4xx. Otherwise the service can be broken into two routes?

Suggestion 2. Should service 194 be renamed parks 406? It serves only the Jurong Bird Park and using a trunk service number may deem inappropriate for it. This could also save a service number.
