Suggestion. Service 188C: Choa Chu Kang Int to Clementi Int (with slight differences from 188, operates during peak hours)
As compared to the main service 188, it does not serve the last pair of stops along CCK Way, CCK Rd, Bt Batok Rd / West Ave 3 / West Ave 6, and beyond Clementi Ave 6. However, it serves CCK Ave 1 / Ave 3 / Bt Batok Ctrl / East Ave 6, which 188 does not. Hope it helps to ease the load from CCK to Clementi.

In addition, students residing near Jurong West St 62, St 63 have an alternative to Boon Lay int (currently served by 243 and 257) and a direct link to NTU and AMK.
3. It is the only service in NTU that provides links to beyond Jurong West estate and the distance of the route is relatively ok with 35 fare stages in total with 33% of it are considered "express sectors".

Services 179 and 199 can also be renamed 728 and 729.

With that, the other services wouldn't be jammed with students and there would be space for other commuters to board.

Yep. The service will arrive more frequently during the morning, but they stop serving after 7.30am. Thus only fifteen buses (at most) will be used. Double Decker buses will arrive at Boon Lay Int from Soon Lee Bus Depot (I presume SBS Transit will operate them)
The advantage is that the company will make more money from these services.
Then, on the other hand, buses like 66, 157 and 174 will have their frequency rate decreased by 2-3 minutes.

Disagree. Just leave it as it is. S25 S854 are seasoned routes. Not everyone are able to adapt to such a big change.

You don't know their demand don't talk. Don't think duplicate a lot need to amend. Both SBST and SMRTB are having profits although they duplicate much.

Why rich? Only Express bus services for students mah. You pay more for a bus transfer a bus.
Sembawang or Yishun take MRT to Clementi then take bus costs more. =X
Yishun take 171 and 852 a bit too long winded sometimes, somemore a need to transfer again. Takes forever to reach.
Remember Poly and Uni students pay adult fare.
