67 stages in total since it is a loop service. 15 non express sectors.
This service seems like Cityshopper 581 but it covers the Sengkang areas too.
For Punggol, alternatively, if there is no service 47, they can utilise the LRT and MRT system to get to town quickly too.

38 stages in total.
Provides a link from Yishun to Choa Chu Kang. However, it goes along Yishun Ave 2 which has an MRT line to provide the link too.
It seems to be a "faster version" of 188 from Choa Chu Kang except for the part at CCK Ave 3
Can someone please comment on my previous three/four posts?

This service has about 27 stages in total considering it to be a looping service. It mainly links Tampines St 71, Tampines Ave 3 to Eunos and the bus stop at Bedok Nth Rd for transfer to 23, 60 or 87.
One thing is it can be confusing for consumers to board this service at Tampines MRT to various destinations. To Tampines St 71, board at Tampines Ave 4 and to Eunos, board at Tampines Ave 5.
Alternative direction
21 Eunos MRT / Tampines MRT
15 Eunos MRT / Bedok Reservoir Rd / a small part of Tampines Ave 1

I don't think you have a choice with Yishun Avenue 2. Nearly any service that runs into Yishun runs parallel with the MRT Line...

About 29 stages in total.
This service in my opinion can be feastible looking at 854's demand as a reference. Although 85 from Yishun to Punggol is still faster than 883, it provides the link from Sembawang / Yishun to Hougang.

Yup. Agreed with you.
The service can go deeper into 804 or 806, 811 or 812 areas but then, this will increase the number of fare stages to 40+ since people long Yishun Ave 2 can utilise the NSL to get to Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok.
why not make 143 go 1 big round in toa payoh b4 heading to int???
jln toa payoh>>lor 2>>lor 1>>lor 4>> lor 6>> back to int...
i find a waste of time changing to a feeder bus in toa payoh.... or maybe edit some buses to lor 1,2 area... sure high demand!!!

Agree. SBS8104H, if you don't know what the feeders are for, then keep it in yourself.
Fedders are short haul routes, that are short, of course. They have flat fare.

I thought of 139, 143, 145 going lor 2 >> central >> lor 4 >> lor 6 cos I dont like the idea of them going out of TPY on second stop. But it didnt really make sense. Quite a waste of time. ![]()
Lor 6/7 area got higher demand, esp during peak hours. Just look at the loads on 57 and 59 after it goes past the central area.

why u choose my favourite svc? haha. i gonna hear the drivers complaint if that happens haha.
we follow sbs8104h, all trunk services must loop in their terminating neighbourhood before entering interchange liao.
tamp - 10, 23, 31, 65, 67 (all to follow 28 way)
psr - 5, 15, 21, 58 (all to follow 518 way)![]()

Whaaa... 10, 23, 67 for TP Int so long already wanna loop in Tp? Gosh! And somemore Tp East already got so much link... Got some to Pasir Ris, Changi Village, and other western destinations. But then Tp West and area around Ave 3, 4 of Tp got few X-country services... Maybe 31 can link to Tp West?
For Pasir Ris, for all to follow Express 518, wouldn't that be an overkill on capacity? It seems to much. Moreover, services 5 and 21 are quite long. Sv. 15 definitely cannot. Loop service round at Marine Parade already so long still wanna link round PRis? BC confirm strike one lorh... Anyways from Tp, PRis, got service 3. Townlink also have right?
Anyways, I guess must amend with prudence. I guess the shorter ones are best to amend though. I will work on amending Service 31 to Tampines West(Ave 3, 4) shortly.

my brains no problem. ur sense of humour got problem.
it is not wise to amend 5, 10, 15, 21, 23, 31, 58, 65, 67.
They have their own purpose. if u want maybe Bedok to Changi Airport via Tampines West Est or something

Pertaining to your route amendment of service 143, with the roundabout, 143 can easily reach 39 stages which is pretty long.
Besides, 56 provides the link from Lor 4 Toa Payoh to Novena. There is NSL line Braddell MRT at Lor 2 Toa Payoh and further down Toa Payoh MRT Stn although residents along Lor 2 may have to walk some distance to the nearest stations. NSL Line provides the link to the main "high demand areas" like Novena, Newton, Orchard and Chinatown, Harbourfront which is all plied by 143. Kindly correct me if the above statement is wrong.

lol. 143's route is currently good enough. there's a reason what the feeder is created for. to serve people to the town centre, that links people out of tpy. i feel that 232's frequency is rather good and consistent.

Can only amend Service 31. To serve Tp West. But I think that is as much as it can go.

The revised routing will ease capacity shortage on townlink service 291 during peak hours, and provide Tp West residents a link to Toa Payoh. Currently the only other link in Tp West(Semi-XCountry) is Service 22 which is extremely infrequent.
TP West ppl have S8 or they can walk a little to take S59 to toa payoh. either way, they're definitely faster than amended 31. they also have links to Marine Parade by S15.
Capacity shortage on S291 is more apparent on the eastern loop.
