For svc 44, it is 55 stages in total. In my opinion, this service seems to be a bit long. Nevertheless, it provides links to the city and Jurong West from Bedok Nth and Sth and also Upper East Coast. However, for Upper East Coast, it already has 506 which I think is faster. This service mainly duplicates a large portion of 67 from Bedok Nth Ave 3 to Lavender, and 97 from Marina Centre to Jurong Town Hall Rd. With the implementation of this service, service 97 can be scrapped and it can be expected that the demand is gd from the west to the city.
On a last note, there is one minor problem with the route though. Bedok Sth Rd is not accessible from Upper East Coast Rd in the direction towards the city. So have to follow 506. :)
For svc 46, it is 56 stages in total. Bulk of the fare stages comes from Pasir Ris to Woodlands which are express sectors. This service increases the accessibility of the Woodlands Estate greatly to the east which is currently limited by 969 to Tampines. However, it will be better if the route is shortened or in my opinion, people will still prefer to transfer buses to save time even though there is a direct svc.
