Route is pretty straightforward from Punggol to St. Michael. This service opens up links to Punggol but it is restricted to passing by Punggol interchange following 43.
Probably reroute via Bishan Road -> St 21 - > Marymount Rd/Thomson Road and duplicates 55 ;).

That may not be such a bad idea. Can reduce the number of buses needed. There are so many services from the interchange to Lor 4 anyway so that connection will not be missed.

How about going via Lorong Chuan instead? It can lessen the duplicate with 55 and 88. Can also create a link from Lor Chuan to Macritchie and St Michaels.

agreed... the lor 3 ppl will be very happy as in another bus will be serving there instead of 235, which takes 4 ever to get in
You mean, many places in neighbourhoods are only accessible via feeder buses and residents need more direct link to other neighbourhoods?

Pls, services 600 to 699 are used by private services and it is best not to re-use them. Leave the service number as it is.
I don't understand why 961 didn't have any bendies during peak hours, especially at 5pm to 7pm. The bendies can do downroute from Chinatown to W'lands to ease the number of passengers actually. If not, people will sure complain the full load and timings of 961.
