SMRT 982
Sembawang Int - Bukit Batok Int
more standardisation of CACC services to be kicked in with the launch of the distanced-based fare system
-sv89 to terminate at Changi Village Terminal
-sv09 to terminate at Changi Village Terminal
-sv19 no route change. Buses run at a reduced headway to facilitate the high loads of workers going out of the cargo complex during peak hours
- sv89e to be renumbered express sv509. No route change.
-additional service sv49 to run between Changi Village Terminal and CACC. sv129 to run between Pasir Ris Int and CACC using current 89 route. This will be able to help disperse more passengers quickly

Would prefer yours too. And yes, waiting for 54 is irritating...I never had a good time waiting for it. Literally give up on waiting.
Should just write into SBST with that route...intro it as 54M running from 0530 hrs till 0020 hrs (last train at bishan mrt is at 0010, 54 ending at 11pm is ridiculous...what if I take the train, end up at bishan mrt after 11pm, then i'm supposed to be stuck there without a bus to go home from the geographically nearest mrt station?) or simply a peak hour service, with evening peaks extended till 0020..

Prolly hates it because of the frequency...u don't have a 162 to choose from if you stay at the marymount road side of shunfu.

This service has almost the same purpose as the current SBST sv.128. To get to the NEL from Tanjong Pagar Stn, one will probably transfer at Outram Park Stn, which means a long walk from the EWL to NEL and vice versa. Another option would be to take EWL to Raffles Place, NSL to Dhoby Gauht and finally to NEL, two transfers on the train is also quite time consuming and troublesome. Therefore this service is targeted at Shenton Way workers living in NEL areas and I do foresee some form of demand for this service given a current report in zaobao that there are more people prefering buses over trains at certain circumstances most probably due to convinence of saving the trouble from walking up and down for transfers on trains. Upper Serangoon Rd is chosen as the express sector as that part is already served by sv.107.
Fleet:
SBS2694K (HGDEP 82 -> HGDEP 20/27)
SBS2718B (HGDEP 156 -> HGDEP 20/27)
SBS2763U (HGDEP 159 -> HGDEP 20/27)
SBS2785G (HGDEP 159 -> HGDEP 20/27)
These 4 buses will operate as Split shift buses which will operate on Service 27 during off peak and will crossover to Service 20 during peak hours. They will off service after completing the evening peak Service 20 runs.
Following up:
SBS2607M
HGDEP SP -> HGDEP 156
SBS1948K

Yes, and normal fares will be charged just like Service 128, as it has about the same purpose as Service 128.
SBS2695H I hope you don't mind if I use the same service no.
