Also got serve Fort Rd/Mountbatten Rd leh... Also fastest from there to Marina/Suntec/Esplanade.

This idea not bad as it provides the only link between Chinatown and Marina Centre/Suntec City but SBST might not like to introduce short-haul services like this one.
My suggestions is to either 1) Extend Svc 198 to terminate at Marina Centre Terminal via Telok Blangah Way, Lower Delta Rd, Tiong Bahru Rd, Outram Rd, Eu Tong Sen St, Hill St, Bras Basah Rd, Raffles Boluvard and Marina Centre Ter. or 2) Extend this service to Bt Merah Int. -
