- (Route 69 from Bedok Int. to Tampines Int.)
- (Route 37 from Tampines Int. to Changi North Cres, loop back to Tampines Ave 7)
- Tampines Ave 4
- Tampines Ave 5
- (Route 69 from Tampines Ave 5 to Bedok Int.)
In this way it saves a service number and also provides link to Tampines Ave 4. Tampines residents going to Bedok can board 18 or 38.
What do you think

It's ok. Why not put bus stops outside the Int like Hougang? Then no need go inside. I suggest sth like this
Bedok Int
Route 69
Tampines Ave 5
Tampines Ctrl 2, 1, 3
Tampines Ave 7
Route 37
Go back.

It could be quite difficult to merge these two bus routes and keep all of the areas that are currently being served by both routes in Sembawang - there's considerable overlap and oddities in their routing within Sembawang New Town...
Rather, as I mentioned a long time ago, they might want to consider extending route 962 to Senoko and withdraw route 981, though someone pointed out that that will cause crush-load conditions on such a modified route.
As for route 859, they should really consider splitting it up into two - either one for the area around Admiraly Link area and another one for Admiralty Drive/Sembawang Crescent (the latter following the old route 859 exactly), or turn it into a loop service and into something like route 243 or 410 - clockwise and anti-clockwise loops within Sembawang.
actually, i kinda confused with 859 route..
Feeder 301 - Choa Chu Kang Int to Jalan Teck Whye (loop)
*operate during school peak hour except for sch and public holiday.

Service 85 will be amended to ply Jalan Kayu and Sengkang West Ave. To reduce duplication with service 86 which links up Sengkang to Jalan Kayu, it will be amended to ply Sengkang West Ave too. Details will be posted in next week.
Main purpose is to link up Sengkang West Ave to Yishun and Jalan Kayu to Sengkang.
Suggestion of new Fast Forward Service 012e: To skip all stops along East Coast Road and Mountbatten Rd for both directions during the morning and evening peak hours respectively.

Please be reasonable. I don't see why 12e should skip ALL the stops along Upp East Coast and Mountbatten Rd.

East Coast Rd and Mountbatten Rd are very important for service 12. the demand for the ffw 12e you suggested might not be good.

12e(just help you for it.)
Is this good for 12e?
3 trips per peak.
Morning Peak: 0645,0715,0745
Evening Peak: 1745,1815,1845
bold goes for express
The new suggestion for service 85 is GOOD as it provides service for people who want to go to Jalan Kayu from Yishun and Punggol directly and also provides service for people staying at a more "remote" Sengkang West to Rivervale (where they will have to change LRT lines), Punggol and Yishun. However, there are usually jams at Jalan Kayu and you would want to take note of that. Other than that, everything else is fine.

I once speculated that route 117, if it turns out to be a Hougang > Sembawang route, might pass by there (as well as Anchorvale Community Club. Combined with this amended route 85, they should help compliment with each other - it will help provide a direct link between both Sembawang and Yishun with Jalan Kayu, and this part of Sengkang with both Hougang and Punggol. Someone should send this to SBS Transit
.
And speaking of Sembawang and Yishun, here's a suggestion for an enhanced route 882:
Enhanced route 882: Yishun > Sembawang Park (loop) via:
Yishun Central > Yishun Avenue 3, Yishun Ring Road, Yishun Avenue 5, Sembawang Road > Sembawang Avenue > Sembawang Drive > Sembawang Way > Canberra Link > Sembawang Road, and u-turn at former Sembawang Road End bus terminal.
When the Montreal Drive extension is completed, they can amend it to ply:
... > Sembawang Drive > Admiralty Drive > Wellington Cricle > Montreal Drive > Sembawang Road > ...
Pros: restores the link between Yishun and Sembawang Park, creates new links between the neighbourhoods along Yishun Central, Chong Pang area, and the neighbourhood around Wellington Circle, which is badly in need of a new bus route
Cons: route may be slightly too circuitous between the Chong Pang neighbourhood and Yishun Town Centre. Not a problem for passengers travelling between these two places, as there are already routes 171, 811, 856, 858, 859, and 969 doing the job, but may be a problem for those at Wellington Circle neighbourhood wishing to travel to Yishun Town Centre. Route between Yishun and Sembawang Park is also not the most direct possible.
I have an idea for a route from Bukit Batok to serve Choa Chu Kang, Yew Tee and the Sungei Buloh Area:
Service 840: Bt Batok Int to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (loop)
This route merges routes 947 and 302 and also provides an alternative for service 925C to Sungei Buloh while passing through Bukit Batok, Choa Chu Kang and Yew Tee MRT Stations.
I found out that many NUS students studying on the east side of the campus need more bus services (from an earlier post) and double decker buses cannot serve there (due to low bridges). Maybe SMRT can extend service 189 to ease the demand for 95:
and follow the same route back to Bt Batok Int.
